Looking ... one that doesn't shed a ton of hair.
There may be such a breed, but I have not encountered one. But then we've always just adopted regular old mixed breeds. The social factor does exist (contrary to what most dog people claim), but it's an individual thing, I think. Good luck. It seems like a good idea for little g.
Dammit. I was already formulating a list in my head!Good afternoon Lodge.
Mrs. g and I are working with little g on a couple things. Once he succeeds his reward will be to get a cat. Mrs. g and I are not cat fans as we would rather get a dog. However, little g does not like dogs as they tend to invade his space and we respect that. Besides, as much as we are away from home a cat might be the way to go.
Question for the cat lovers in the Lodge.......... Any reccomendations? (sorry bigblue.....not that kind of cat ) Looking for a social cat and one that doesn't shed a ton of hair. We will be spending some time at the humane society to help as well.

They occasionally work as a team. The big one or the little one?

Well I had an interesting thing happen at work today. Or rather, the building next to ours.
Our offsite building is just off Interstate 494, and there is an embankment about 10 feet high, that slopes down to the parking lot; the embankment is about 15 feet wide. I was taking some things out to the dumpster, and I heard this weird noise. I turn, and see this pickup truck go front-first off the highway, through the fence at the top of the embankment, CATCH AIR, and land in the lot, and t-bone a parked car, pushing it about 5 feet into the next car over (and that last car didn't even get a dent)!!!!
I sprint over to see if the driver is okay, and the guy was already out of the vehicle surveying the damage. Not a scratch on the guy!! The owner of the car heard the crash and came out, made sure the driver was okay, asked what happened. We tell the owner what happened and what I saw. Cops were called, they jotted everything down, etc. They didn't need my statement or anything (probably because it was only property damage).
Since the guy was okay, I have to say it looked pretty freakin' awesome to see something like that.

TPIWWV.
Well, if the driver wasn't arrested for DUI he obviously didn't have WI plates. Seems to me he was just plain old stupid so he must have had ND plates.

Its not the roads. The roads are like this every year, it should be expected. Its stupid people that don't know how to drive on the roads.Eh, the roads were pretty bad this morning. I saw quite a few spinouts on my way to work. Lots of black ice and such.
