Second day in the bakery, and I've already made my first baguette. Time flies much quicker in the bakery, and I've noticed it's more gracious and civil than in the kitchen.

Sounds like you've just about confirmed your calling. :)
This.

RFAlph- back to the old habits. I thought you were going to start sleeping late!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday

Alright, this looks absolutely awesome. http://www.twincities.com/ci_19713915
Does anyone in the Twin Cities want to go on Saturday night?
It doesn't seem like it would be fun in person since you can only see a small section of the race when you are next to the track. Seems like it would be better on a video screen, but then whats the point of being out in the cold? Just put it on my tv!

It does seem like a fun event otherwise.

I read somewhere that they have huge video screens, and its free to go, so I think I'm going to check it out.

I know my kid wants to go. We went to the Red Bull Flugstad (sp?). And it was similar - too many people to be able to get close to the launch area, but huge video screens so you could follow it easily. I'm sure they'll do the same here. And if you just watched it on TV you wouldn't get to experience how ****ed-up DT STP is with a traffic overload! :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

Yeah, the Flugtag was pretty fun also. I got the impression from it that Red bull knows how to put on these types of things and make them fun.

Hey Lodge. Bad news. I think the Yellowstone supervolcano erupted. There is white stuff falling from the sky and the only reasonable explanation I can think of is its ash from the volcano. It was nice knowing all you, good luck with the impending ice age.

I was going to say 5-7 since Ralph posted at 4:30 his time, but....yeah.

He was supposed to be here between 8 and noon and showed up about 9:30. (This was after not showing up at all on Saturday.)
