I'm doing nothing today also. I finished my huge tech report yesterday, and there is nothing else that needs to get done before the end of the year. Also, Shirtless Guy is taking me out to Fogo for lunch (he's owed me a Fogo meal for a little while now), but unfortunately he couldn't get a reservation until 1:30. Oh well, that place is well worth the wait.

I'm doing nothing as well....unless you count eating. Had a potluck today with too much food. One guy's mom was up at 3 am baking cinnamon rolls for him to bring in. Mmm.

I went bike riding. My bike thermometer claimed it got up to 62 degrees. :eek:

Strep throat is going around and I haven't felt 100% lately and I've been working like mad against a Friday deadline... I just want to get home. :(

Afternoon, Lodge. Went to my friends' house last night for a party, and brought a pan of blondies (brownies without chocolate, though I added Hershey's Kisses.) Everyone thought they were great (half a pound of butter will do that :D) but assumed the gf made them :p :o Also, those friends had a vat of cider and rum out - reminded me of Winter Carnival.

Also, shopping sucks, but for those looking for a beer sampler Costco has a Samuel Smith's 3-pack + pint glass for $5. Word to the wise. ;)

:D:D WOrk is switching elcetronic med records so we went offline today and everythng was paper based. My boss said I was having a Nirvanah moment. She is right. I got lunch, all my notes were done, I was on time, and I am now home, with no homework. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! Life is grand!!!! Too bad the new EMR can't fail and leave us on paper forever!!!

well, i went out today and made the purchase. black garter. black stocking & white stockings. i told my niece what i did and she laughed and told me i'll soon be broke (she knows about the $100 payments i have to give girl to wear the heeled boots - says this will cost me even more)

Nice.

At work I am on a team assigned to evaluate how the company uses email. I personally think we are to dependent on it. I receive between 100 - 150 emails daily. Many of them are worthless and takes time to sort through them. Myself as well as many on my staff are utilizing the phone and face to face. Email is a valuable tool but there has to be a happy medium somewhere.

Apparently my buddy in Iowa City (specifically Coralville) checked in Newt Gingrich and wife at his hotel on Monday night. Says the secret service was crazy, as in expecting a secure floor without demand, card access only in the elevators for all floors, guards in the stairwells, locks on the stairwell doors (they don't have them currently), etc. Rather obnoxious in his words.

Edit: I guess Rick Santorum (ed. note: google "santorum" for lulz) stayed there too.
