In other (unrelated news) I am in charge of Xmas dinner.

Prime rib (11 pounds), twice baked potatoes, wild rice.........not sure what else should be on the menu. Suggestions?

And that's just a mental image that won't go away......

Grrrr... I would have my car back right now if they had shipped the right bumper to the body shop. Stopped by the shop and it was all ready for paint except for the bumper. Getting tried of putting up with the loaner and it's off and on lack of power steering to the left. That really sucks after a full shift and it decides it doesn't want to work. :mad:

Good Morning Lodge.

Saw another ex-NHLer in the local sporting goods store last night. He was with his squirt getting skates sharpened. Kid was wearing the Edina Squirt A jacket. Didn't even know this former player was in Edina, nor that his kids were playing hockey already. I guess it's tme - he retired from playing in '01.

I might not be going to Wisconsin for Christmas. :( My mom called me at 10pm last night to talk. She thought it was 8pm. Both my mom and dad have the flu. There is no way I am going to be around for that.

This is a pretty cool, hockey-related Christmas story.

Today is my last day here for 2011. Yesterday was the last day ever for having to enter our time. Usually on slow days like this I worry about what to put down for how I spend the day but since we don't have to worry about that, I've done little to nothing with no worry!! :) It's like 60 degrees and sunny here today. Loving it!
