Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

Evening Lodge.

Jr's team (with jr still benched due to concussion) won tonight 4-3 in a big comeback (two unanswered goals in the third, just like the Gophs last night!) against a hated rival - Minnetonka:D. Also had to play against eight on the ice at all times. Stripes should have been in blue. Called 8 penalties against our kids, none against theirs. In third period just after our kids tied it, they called a totally phantom interference against our D man and then gave an unsportsmanlike against another kid for asking "what was that for?" Put us two down for 1:30 which we killed than scored a little after that. I got out of the rink quickly so I didn't get in trouble for confronting the refs.

The time change was an hour, not a day! :p

I know. It was the extra meet and then the change- got home at dark, etc. WHat can I say, I am either getting old or I a have a very strong Circadian rhythm.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

Good Morning

Productive weekend. Saturday I had a friend come over to re-grade my lawn and driveway, so water doesn't run directly towards the house, now it should run about 15 feet away from the house, into the backyard. I'm hoping that this, along with fixing some masonry that has been damaged since I moved in will keep the water from seeping into the basement next spring. I think I'm going to take a half day off today and go home to do some late-fall seeding of the lawn that was fixed so I can get some grass going right away next spring. Saturday night I went down to my parent's house, ended up going out to eat with a friend, then went to see a band play at the casino, it was a fun night. On Sunday, my dad and I checked to see if our guns were still sighted in. I switched to a higher FPS slug, so I expected to have to bring it down a little, which I did. I definitely noticed the difference in slugs in my shoulder, these ******** kick quite a bit more than the last ones, but then, they have that much more pop too. 2" drop in 150 yards for a 12 gauge slug is pretty **** good in my book.

Good Morning Lodge.

I'm very proud of you, for real. :)

I may report the refs to the director of officials after this one. It might help carry some weight that we won the game. Whining losers don't get much attention, upset winners carry a little more.

Morning lodge.

Ravens having a night game made it so I couldn't take advantage of extra sleep with falling back an hour.

Tired and sick.

Any news on the job front?

Current job is super boring still. Asking for more work/responsibility was ineffective.

Applying to jobs but being picky...hoping to find something I won't want to upgrade from after a few months like this one. Probably the biggest job search issue for me is my house/determination to be near Ann Arbor. Would like to be within 30 mile radius of my house.
