I'm actually waiting in line to get into this sports bar. I'm too old for this ****. I should drive in to Boston to hottie bartender's place. Texted my friend to order my drink so it will be waiting for me when I get in.

Very interesting day at the arena. Watched the varsity team, and saw a kid, uhhhh, put his ankle on backwards. That was not a pretty injury. Then saw the D-1 club team tonight, and saw 13-1 game that had three fights, one of which was a goalie fight, and then saw the referees toss a fan out of the arena. Fun times.

Sorry I didn't bump into you, les. I did look a bit. Great night either way.

I looked a bit too but had a cute little kid sitting next to me who was chatting me up and ringing one of my spare cowbells. Never got out of me seat. You should come back more often if we see this kind of stuff!! :D

And mook- all of the above :p

Bakunin, definitely. They can't score, and it shows more and more and more as the season rolls on. They're average at best.
If you remember the Gopher team of '07-'08, I think this year's UND team is a very similar group - light on scorers, heavy on 3rd line/muckers with a decent goalie that can steal games. Their best bet is to do what that MN team eventually did - play a defensive style, collapse well around your net to keep everything to the perimeter, and focus almost exclusively on playing well in your own zone / on the pk. What offense there is will have to be opportunistic (stemming from blocked shots / oddmans the other way). There's not much margin for error, but it can be done. With the lack of firepower, it's the only realistic approach that I can see for UND making the tournament this season - and even then it will be iffy (just like it was for MN four years ago).

Reminds me of the early UW teams under Eaves 02-03 to 04-05. Been much more offensively open since then.

sure would be nice... I've always said... if i could bring this down to DC or bring DC up to here... i know I'd like it.

It turned out i didn't really remember which section was section X... I tried peeking in around sections 118, 119, and 120 to no avail. I ended up sitting with my father for the first period, the rest of the game over by ScottK and Bucky.

I just built a new and improved HHT, just so it can TRY and contain how happy I am right now. I want to hug the whole bar. Not the people there, just the bar. :p

Drinks are on the house!!!!!!!!!!!!

But we still haven't played Anyone. I hear they are tough this year. And I love when UND fans say we have played nobody. They are ripping their own team! :D

Dammit, I had to correct SS and now I must correct you: it's anybody, not anyone. Use the meme correctly or don't use it at all! :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

Will someone make sure to drive me home and not leave me passed out under the HHT?
