Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

Good Morning Lodge!

After yesterday's game, I don't expect the sun to come up this morning, so everyone can go back to sleep. Actually, it looks like everyone else is asleep, so maybe you all heard the news already. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

HHT here too. Jr's team won their first game tonight too with jr on the bench (not playing due to concussion) 4-1 and it wasn't that close.
yay for the team. boo for Jr

now I remember why I don't like to fly in the mornings.... trying to keep track of whether or not I've forgotten anything.
Mr. always says- 'what they don't have stores there?'

Still dark here

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! silly saturday

Irony is a biatch. Mr just drove Lil to the bus for a meet. Has been freaking out because things weren't packed last night and he isn't ready to walk out the door 20 min before it was time. For yrs Mr. has packed at 11:30 @ night when he has to wake up at 4AM to go, never, ever likes to plan ahead. That is what I am for. It makes me crazy and he is forever telling me to relax. The irony is delicious. Probably shouldn't have pointed this out at 6:30 AM

GO DHS XC!!!

I don't think they sell recruiting supplies for federal agencies... but point made. Usually its more about snaring the right pieces of clothes and stuff.

Would like to sleep a bit more... too anxious... not clinically... but all part of the usual "get to the airport" nuttiness.

edit: yup, and I just remembered one item i could have forgotten... key to parents house.

Mornin' lodge!

Gameday! Tailgating! Let's Go Hawkeyes!

Bakunin, definitely. They can't score, and it shows more and more and more as the season rolls on. They're average at best.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Coffee is on! I have a craft fair in St. Paul Park. Wish me luck!

I swear, the metro is a conspiracy with big oil and the auto industry... Unannounced/unwarned scheduled track maintainence... Ended up waving the white flag, crawled to the surface, and got a cab.

2ish hours until I'm in manchester

Good Morning Lodge.

Gameday! Tailgating! Let's Go Hawkeyes!

Go Michigan! :p

(I just threw up in my mouth a little with that.)

Windy here today, knocking more of the remaining leaves off. Think I'll be chopoing up and picking up a lot of those today and putting them on the garden to rototill them in in the spring.

Man, Sunday's stillers game made me want to tailgate today. Too bad college football doesn't exist (as it should) in new England. Had a blast, from bloody marys in the hotel bar to stopping a few times in the parking lots and seeing peeps bent seen for years and eating/drinking their stuff.

Last place we stopped was saying hi and introducing my parked friend... There was a black dude in a Bettie jersey that I know who he is, but he doesn't know me. I nodded and said hi. Patsies buddy says kinda loud.."you know Jerome?!? He sucked". No, that is michael Moore. (he grew up in the next town over from us and some circles overlap. "oh (much quieter now), well foreman kicked his ***... Can't beat up an old man...." as he walked away and looked for a dip.

...I guess you had to be there...

Morning all. Nothing big planned until tonight, when a few friends and I head to a Sue bar for the game tonight. Always an interesting time there. ;)

Hopefully, I'll be sitting at the HHT again tonight.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

You should watch more WCHA hockey. The games get heated - especially rivalry games.

HHT for me. 2-0 and 7-2? Wow!

Especially this series. The infamous "handshake scrum" that was the icing on the cake after an end-of-game scrum. Easterners, this is why UND-UM is the biggest and best rivalry in the nation:

Afternoon Lodge. Beautiful Fall day here in 781-ville. Went to buy new winter boots this morning. I got a neat pair of wellies (rain boots) a few years ago. They are totally waterproof, though they don't keep feet warm. Good to wear when it's been raining a lot or there is a lot of slushy puddles during the winter. Wore them last weekend during that mess of a storm and cold water seeped in. Methinks they are worn down. Had them long enough that I felt it was time for a new pair. I also have these winter snow boots that are awesomely purple, but yeah, totally not waterproof. So I bought another pair of boots to use when I have to shovel and it snows. So the question is - do I just throw out the current/old boots. Both pairs are in relatively good shape. Maybe I could donate them?

I'd donate them. Salvation Army, Goodwill, whatever. A worn pair of boots is better than having no boots, you know?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

Afternoon peeps. Got to see my cousin for the first time in 6-7 years last night. He's from the Raleigh area but is down here doing the mystery shopping auditing for Murphy Oil and Valero. Happened to be in the area while I was here, so we got to hang out for 3.5 hours last night. Good times.

Maybe I'll be at the HHT tonight? From what I heard, SLU played well enough to win last night, just didn't get bounces. That is much better than letting that maize and blue team put a 10 spot up. Either Ralph/FD or I will be at the HHT, regardless. I'm sitting there for a tie, since it will be a point, gotta start somewhere.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 139: The Halloween Edition

If RPI wever wins again, someone will have to tell me how to find the HHT.
