Still some finagling to do... an off-hand remark and an invitation may lead to a trip to Lowell for some recruiting and networking... etc. Trying to work out a plan where I come home on Saturday, do my thing on Monday, and then get back to DC on Tuesday... vaporizing a vacation day Tuesday. Not this weekend but the one up coming.

Hit up an auction fundraiser tonight that my store helped sponsor. Between FM and I, for $179 we ended up with the following:
-4 tickets to the Friday night UAH @ tUMD game
-6 passes to the US Hockey Hall of Fame in Eveleth
-4 tickets to the women's tUMD/Gopher games
-10 free coneys at some place downtown (that was him)
-2 entries in to the Walker North Country Marathon (that was all me)
-4 passes for the Saturday night ProComedy tour at the DubhLinn downtown.

All together valued at about $300. Yeah, I'd say we did pretty well. :)

To hell with the RHPS. Yep, said it.

I mentioned I tried watching it once, and I've seen some stupid things in my life, and this was horrible.

Coming from a country bumpkin the RHPS isn't that bad.

Currently at bunkers. Hopefully I don't get shot. :)

Shady there. Yeah, I've been there.

I just don't get into cross-dressing wierdo cult musicals that suck. But that's just me. ;)

Just checked the trip map to get to IA City. This drive is gonna suck donkey balls.

With the exception to Waterloo, it's a very easy drive. Even then, Waterloo is only ~ difficult if you're not paying attention along 218/27, and even then, it's easily correctable.

I can take the back-road route, or the sorta out of the way but less roads route. Undecided as of now, given my talent to get lost, despite any specifity in directions. Yes, I'm that bad at getting lost. :o

Eh, I have tunes, I will have massive amounts of caffiene....let's ride. :)

It's not on my safe list. It's not on my OMG Don't Go There list, either.

I mean, after what happened next to Bootlegger's Memorial Day, I would rank Boot's at the same level. There are better places to go to, and there are far worse.
