LEDs just shipped for my pinball machine. I get to spend the weekend changing out a couple hundred tiny little light bulbs. But it's going to look AWESOME.
Also picked up some art from some friends who are doing an art exhibition in Anchorage. You know how some people get tasteful country scenes or old photographs or stuff when they decorate?
Eff that. Robot triceratops.
I am such a dork.

Oh I am sure it will be fun. I am concerned though that the group of people I am with are up to something and I am in their cross hairs.

Be careful. Many showings like to do something "special" for first-timers.

I found out that a couple in the group have been emailing certain members of the cast. I am worried. Very worried. FYI I am not a RHPS virgin so I should be safe right?

I went to a show back in college. Due to having quite a few beverages before the show I vaguely remember what the show was about.

What about the people who haven't started yet? Or, do headhunters usually not deal with recent grads?
And as for RHPS, pregaming helps. What also helps is having a flask/nalgene in your bag. Not that I would know or anything.
I have a decent RHPS story: I went in 2008, a few months post breakup with the arsehole. He had returned to town that weekend to visit/go to the show/ "see people" (which translates in to *k one of the whores he cheated with)/whatever. He was at the same performance that I went to, and as per tradition at the Vista, he was the gentleman being led around shirtless for people to write all over. After it was explained who he was and what he had done, a member of our group went to write on him. She wrote, in big, bold letters right across his chest, "I AM A CHEATING WHORE", and then posed for a photo with him. He wasn't looking to see what was written on him, so he proceeded to strut around the rest of the night with that written on him acting like he was the greatest thing ever. It. Was. Freaking. Perfect. And, boy was he pizzed when he finally looked at himself.

Once I found out that I was being set up for something I lobbied hard for comedy club. Plus, I know Don Shelby and if he sees me he will also do somehing. Either way I hosed. thus the hardcore pregaming.
Currently at the Loop pregaming. Not to bad of a place for cityslickerville.

I'm fairly certain RHPS was one of the films I watched the summer that my friends and I were killing Friday nights by getting drunk and watching/laughing at a bunch of all-time 'worst' movies. In addition to RHPS, I think we ran through about 1/3 of the IMDB Bottom 100 that summer.

A friend of mine in Grand Forks used to do RHPS every year and kept trying to get me to go. I almost did until I found out about the audience participation stuff, so I went to the bar instead. Never regretted that decision...
