I love the smell of gray rep in the morning. You know, one time we had a newbie cornered, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink good post. The smell, you know that horrid post smell, the whole thread. Smelled like.......victory. Someday the D1 side's gonna be informational...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 138: HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY!

today I got challenged to make a better dinner by the gym trainer at work... unsure if it nets as healthier in the end (I'll let her figure it out/make the calculation)... took some broccolli, onion, and celery... let it "steam" w/ 2 cups of water on low heat for 15 minutes... after that I threw in some amount of soy, threw the chicken in, some sugar, some almonds, and a fair amount of cornstarch (don't mind it thick... yes, yes, folks, that's what she said).

I'm going to guess that you overmeasured those three ingredients by the trainer's standards. Hey, it had veggies in it, right? ;)

Morning.

Felt crappy yesterday, still went out. Surprise, I felt crappy after going out as well. Feeling meh today. But I am going to the Wild game, so my body is just going to have to 'man up' and deal with it.

Feeling ill also will not ruin my plans of going out tomorrow night for my birthday. It may make me hurl for the first time in ages tho. :D

Morning Lodge.

A rep offered me 4 tickets to the Wild-Pens game tonight. 7th row, end the Wild shoot at twice (I think I've sat there with another rep from that company a couple years ago- nice seats). Can't go. The bantam team is having a practice and parent meeting and I run the parent meeting. :( Oh yeah, jr has a band concert after the practice/meeting too. :(

Those are pretty nice. My ticket package is Row 11 in Section 118. I like the sides better than the ends. Also, that should be just above the glass line.

Good Morning

I have one meeting in the office this morning, that was supposed to start 5 minutes ago, then we're heading up to North Dakota again. Luckily its only for 2 days, 1 night.

My ticket pack is 15 rows up, supposedly the corner, but we're right on the edge of the section, so it is more on the end than in the corner. Pretty good seats, and not much different from where we sat for the National Championship game.

w00t! sometimes cooking/baking is my outlet to deal with the crazy world.
I know it's my outlet... baking makes me feel young again. And it's making me money to boot.

I'm going to guess that you overmeasured those three ingredients by the trainer's standards. Hey, it had veggies in it, right? ;)
Sounds healthy to me!

Good morning, Lodge! 4 cups of coffee down and I'm good to go!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 138: HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY!

Evening, somber night on the boat. My capt found out his mom passed away this afternoon. She got out of bed, fell and broke her hip, but couldn't get to a phone to alert anybody. He's getting off the boat in about 6 hours to fly out of Baton Rouge first thing in the morning. Really unfortunate :(
That's a bummer.

slept in and about to have lunch. Mom's meatloaf. :D

Good afternoon tLodge...a much needed day off after this weekend. Probably wouldn't have been so bad if people would have, you know, shown up for work.

Thanks all.....so far all systems go. Assuming her CT Scan comes back normal we will have a timetable in the next few weeks.

I know I give the scientist, engineers, & researchers (you nerds!) here a lot of grief but you guys truly are amazing. The doctor is confident she will have "normal" hearing because of this process. A sense can now be brought back.....simply amazing....keep up the good work, ya'll. :)

That's really great news, GE. :)

That'll teach ya to be an involved parent! :D

On that note, my 8-yr-old's league just sent an email asking for volunteers, including coaches. I really enjoyed coaching his last two years, but I'm not a hockey player; I was really just an extra adult on the ice, helping keep the kids' attention, keeping them in line, etc. Very little help, skill-wise. (Not to mention this was back in HK, not exactly a hotbed of serious hockey.)

So I'd love to help again, but now we're in Saint Paul, Minnesota, man, and they might not appreciate my kind of help. Oh well. The worst that can happen is they say "No thanks," right? I guess I'll find out.

At 8 they still need dads to keep them focused on what they're supposed to be doing. Just remember, head up, knees bent. Oh, and tell the kids to do that too.
