Prepping for my lone road trip of the year here. Need to clean out the car and my cooler, and then headed on into work for a meeting, and then 2 hot stone massages and another 90 minute as well. Then fixing some chicken chili to take with.

I got a call from my Grandmother recently. She was watching the Detroit Tigers versus the KC Royals in August and they started talking about Tigers relief pitcher Joaquin Benoit and Royals reliever Joakim Soria and the pronunciation of their first names. Turns out, she's been trying to find a spelling of the name because she's never had an accurate spelling of one of our distant relatives to continue researching that branch of the family tree.

Armed with the proper spelling, she was able to get a whole lot more information about our distant relative now that they would provide the information.

She was proud of being able to do genealogy while watching her Tigers. Sadly, we're still not related to any MLB players though. :p

Finally have my luggage in hand. I head home in 5 days and a wakeup. I really hope they don't put me on USeless Air again.
