I think I'm set on getting a guitar... just going to wait a couple of weeks... get settled back into the real world and stuff. Went to a chain store in Falls Church and they were rather helpful... I had some difficulty figuring it out but it was nice to mess around with it and make some things that sound like music.

Went out to Fordham area last night until 4am, then Yankees! game today was a success. Going back for 2 more tomorrow, hopefully crashing on a bed/couch back at the Alma Mater or maybe in my car, then home Monday. Coming back down for the ALDS Friday. Gonna be a whirlwind week.

Bacon-Chocolate cookies: 4 oz of apple-smoked bacon, minced in the food processor mixed with an equal amount of chopped semi-sweet chocolate. Replaced some of the butter with rendered bacon fat, plus topped with a glaze of powdered sugar and rendered bacon fat. I call it the Satisfied Lady.

Well jr did get invited to play summer hockey for the team he tried out for. Seems expensive at first blush, but when you break it down to $/hour on the ice it's not that bad compared to other camps, clinics, etc. Guess we'll sign him up for the Ice Edge Bandits Blue. Hope the neighbor kid is going play again too, we may need car pool help if they practice during the day. Grading for association hockey is Tuesday, hope the kid does well in that one too.

Good for Jr. I miss watching Lil play but I don't miss all the extra time and $ that we didn't have.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! sunday, day of rest.

Lil was 69th yest out of 227 kids. 1st man again. ran under 5:51 mile pace for the race. Not bad for a sophmore :D

kickball day again... its been way too long... lets see... rain out, hurricane, labor day, medication, the lost week (leaving this off board)... I miss them.

Fun night in Green Bay last night with a friend and one of her friends from high school. We started with drinks while watching college football, then went to Stadium View, after that we went to the Brantley Gilbert concert. Apparently the girls thought that Brantley Gilbert is OMG!!!1!!! HOT( yes I did the high school girl talk on purpose). We than hit up a few bars in downtown Green Bay, before heading back to the ****ty hotel and ordering pizza at 3:00 am. Definitely a fun time. It sounds like the girls are going to come down to the cities to visit sometime soon. They want to go to TK's, so that should work out well.

Going for the sweep at yankee stadium and the boston wild card lead is down to. 5 over Tampa and 1.5 with LAA I believe (LAA were winning in the 6th last I knew)

Well as expected the Vikings found a way to **** the bed in the second half (and overtime too!) today.

Man, it would be nice to have a competent NFL QB.
