Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Morning Lodge.

Supposed to be very summer-like here today. One weatherguesser is predicting 90. Have a bunch of relatives coming over for picnic. May try to set up an awning for more shade...

Morning.

I hear there is some sporting event today. Actually I think my only interest in most of today's games is to see the 9/11 tributes.

Wow
What a beautiful day on the coast of Maine, dew points in the 30s temps in the 60s, couldn't be better
Finally finished my firewood, for real this time:). Its all in, next years is in and 2 years out is cut , just needs to be split and put in the shed

Perfect morning here in Capital City.
Ralph is becoming more and more nocturnal in retirement!

Coming down with an anxiety disorder sucks. I feel like crap, medication is mitigating things but work is going to be downright miserable tomorrow.

Handle one part of the day at a time. Talk yourself thru 9AM, then 11 AM then thru Lunch, etc. Meds take a bit to kick in. They will work better as time goes on.

Did you notice the hordes of cyclists riding around your town today, old man (dunno which part of the city you live in, but there's a chance you noticed the cops all over directing traffic and such)?

No. I'm up by Hamline, better have weapons if you ride up here. ;)

I was in the good parts of town: Shepard Rd, Summit Ave, St. Thomas campus, etc. :D

Ramsey Hill can go **** itself, however, and so can all the people who got off their bikes to walk up it and got in my way in the process. :p

It has a little pitch to it, you'd have to be an idiot to bike on Ramsey Hill.
