Nope, and this physco's exact quotes were "next time you do it you have 2 options 1: a bullet between the eyes and then i unless my dogs or 2: the reverse of that, and Im from Texas and I can do that"

later in the day we were out shooting and she comes down the road ******ing about something and it was "my gun maybe pink but it still works and i know how to use it" I dropped to the ground real quick not wanting to find out if she did

...wow.

And, contributing to the Twitter discussion: I'm on there, too.

Are you a moron? Wait, don't answer that. I'd be calling the cops on this psycho. That's a threat to your life, IMO.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 137: Counting the long summer days

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the skunk smell out of my house? I think we got it out of my dog, who got herself skunked enough to foam at the mouth. Unfortunately, it's a nice night so all the windows were open and the smell is all over the house. :(

Not what I needed tonight considering letting her out was the last thing I was going to do before going to sleep. Typically we check the yard before letting her out at night, and often take her out on the leash. Unfortunately, she bolted right past boyfriend as soon as the door was open. Boyfriend let her out, so I blame him.

A crapload of FeBreze? I know that covers cig smoke rather well. Other than that, I'm lost.

They don't seem to offer specifics, but it should get you started down the right path.

As far as the house. We did the candles, coffee grounds, incense, and the baking soda on the carpet which all seemed to help. It's now 2:50 am and we are finally breathing a little easier. I have to get up at 5 for work so I better say good night! Thanks to all for all the wonderful suggestions! I love this site.

uhm, its not that simple...

Unless you're entering a building of some sort, I'd think it is. Land is (or should be) a whole 'nother set of laws. I mean, I don't know for sure, but would sure as heck like to find out.

I'm just saying she had every right to come out and yell at them and threaten them when they were on her property without her permission even if I think people like that are crazy. They WERE trespassing, that doesn't mean they would actually have to pay a fine is she took them to court, but she did have every right to tell them to get the hell out off her property. And depending on where you live, she would have had every right to shoot them if they repeated the offense :p just saying.

Unless you post something state "no trespassing" or "no soliciting," you cannot threaten the well being of someone coming onto your property. If that were the case, someone could threaten the Girl Scouts who go around selling their cookies, or the Boy Scouts and their X-mas wreaths. There has to be a formal notice given for normal course of life. This, of course, excludes criminal acts (breaking & entering, etc) or presented with a situation of clear and present danger.

While every state is going to have different standards, this is something that's pretty standard throughout most states.

And you don't think telling someone to get off their property and telling them if they come back on it again in the future, isn't good enough?

I didn't say that, and that wasn't his situation. PB said that they were turning around in her driveway when she came out threatening them (assuming that he and/or his friends did the normal turnaround bit, with perhaps the front tires of the vehicle goes onto the driveway). Being threatened the first time with violence is completely out of order, though stating that a second time could result in violence for a similar act is probably still going too far in most states because at that point, given the situation of a car simply turning around, she would have a tough time explaining to someone exactly how she thought herself to be in danger.

And if I were ornery/nuts, I'd threaten a first time. That's fine and dandy. That second time? "On the next episode of Cops..."
