Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

Does the gift certificate affect his amateur status?
Only if I am his family advisor :p
Gravity bongs in the sink, drunk as all hell, peeing in the deep fryer, throwing sent-back steaks on the wall and returning them, standard lice spiced meals, spitting on the food (required practice of any restaurant worker), stink-palming food, snot seasoning, smoking a cig while making a salad (guess what the ashtray is?), .......need I go on?

Edit: I only am guilty of the 3 second rule. And the stink palm.
ew

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! thursday is almost friday

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

Morning! Happy Friday (for me)!

My thoughts of food service is, if I can't see or taste it on my food then it didn't happen. If I was paranoid about it I could never eat prepped food again. But I am also good to my serving staff.

Good lord. I'm generally very polite to servers, but remind me to never eat at a restaurant again. Ever.

Once worked in a place where the entire kitchen was speeding.
Ctf: Michael. Your entire kitchen is speeding right now.
Mgr: Awesome! This place will look awesome in the morning!

Speeding?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

And just how on earth did you of all people manage that little uh-oh in Food Safety?

Because food safety is very paranoid, and sometimes doesn't even make sense...
The final is very tricky; only mustered a 78 on it, which was enough to pass.

I imagine the Food Safety requirements are a little tighter than you're used to at home. :p

I know because I'm sure that I violate the codes at least a half dozen times when I cook at home, just like everyone else.
Exactly. I just remember to wash my hands after touching raw poultry/eggs and I never cut meat on the same surface as cutting vegetables and fruit.

And good morning, Lodge.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

I hate doing homework. Why did I decide to take a course after I retired with homework? At least there are no tests. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

Drugs? Figures I don't know about it. I don't know anything about them, I get all I need from the alcohol, don't know and don't care about any of that other ****.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 136: Again?

Morning Lodge.

Jr scored two goals last night in the soccer match. This kid is a lousy soccer player, slow and not very skilled. He got a goal in a tourney game last Saturday and I figured that'd be it for the season. He does know one thing from hockey - crash the ****ing net! So he got a rebound goal in the first half last night. In second half our coach implimented a 10 pass rule - must complete 10 passes before shooting. He was right in front of the net after 10 were completed so he popped it in again. I'm sure three goals is the most he's had in a season for the last three seasons of travel soccer.

For soccer, that's pretty impressive! Although you do have to be careful with crashing the net because of the whole movable offsides line. Although if he's slow, I think it's even more surprising.

This is the lowest level of traveling soccer (C3) in a state not known for soccer. The opponents last night should frankly be playing house league as I doubt they'll win a league game this season. Our team has beaten them 3 times already, two in league and once in a tourney. And yes, he gets called for offsides pretty often.

Bought a brand new Deere riding mower after work. I'll rebuild the engine of the old one when I get time and re-sell it.
