Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

When one reports a potential electrical problem to your building should their reaction be "I don't want to come out there today, can we deal with it tomorrow"? (not literal, but close) I will say that the noise stopped and I suspect its related to the washer/dryer.... but am I wrong to want to beat the guy on the other side of the line who doesn't quite understand English and the words "electrical problem".

There will be much chewing out tomorrow.

Additional downside... won't be able to get my laundry done today... I know its a holiday... I know its a holiday... but its an electrical issue in their building... I hate to say this, but they should be on call on xmas... in the end its their building, not mine. Of course worrying for my own safety is important.

For those who were with me at the F4 in downtown Mpls, this happened last night, which is right where we were when I got hit by that car:

In the third incident, an officer heard shots at about 2:15 a.m. after bar close in downtown Minneapolis. Two victims were found at First Avenue and Third Street. The victims include a 21-year-old man who was shot in the head after an argument, and a 19-year-old man was shot in the upper body.

:eek::eek::eek:

That area has been going downhill since I first started to head back downtown about a year or so ago. :(

Win.

Tried some 5-pepper seasoning I got at the grocery store on some pork loins tonight. Tastes pretty good. And of course, a dab of Frank's Hot Sauce: I Put That Sh* On Everything! (c)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 135: Rain, rain go away

BBQ ribs, broccoli and cornbread (wally's cornbread sounded good)

watching the news and Lil is immitating Sae-era Palin talk about Amae-rica complete with little head bobs. He has her accent down pat. Whatever I think of her politics her voice and over emphasized accent is like scratching the chalkboard. If I need to listen to her thru the whole campaign I might lose it.

hey everyone.

I am just winding down from the weekend watching some tv. I grilled some Memorial Day dinner, since its Memorial Day i had to grill. I grilled up a nice rare ribeye steak smothered it with onions, mushrooms and peppers sauteed in butter, with some gorgonzola crumbled on top. Also grilled some vegis up. It was pretty good.

N.Y. strips steaks on the grill and fresh corn on the cob for dinner. For dessert a trip up the street to the local ice cream merchant. After that maybe a quick stop to get an I heart Jim Tressel tat.:D

Booked a hotel for the shindig in Houghton over July 4th weekend. I had considered sleeping in the truck, but figured I'd want to shower sometime that weekend.

I assume you're at the Franklin?

Yeah, I thought about going cheaper, but thought I'd want to be at the same place as everyone else.

Mookie, its Houghton, that is probably a bad idea there. Chances are you don't want to go home with "her" and if you do, she probably doesn't have running water.
