Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Les, what's wrong with me?

I don't think she has the time or badwidth to cover all that...

Morning Lodge.

Well, so far only our CEO and maybe CFO and founder know that I'm outta here. I expect he'll save it for the Monday morning staff meeting.

Lovely day here and I think I'll take a little time off this afternoon. We have relatives arriving and we're meeting a big group early downtown for dinner before the show. Need to help get the house ready.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Good Morning Lodge

I just make it a point to not go to the doctor, online or in person. I have better ways to spend my money and I always seem to pull through.

I got out of work an hour early yesterday, and got some yard work done. I cleaned up a section that is grown up and brushy, and seeded it down. This was a piece close to the road, so I wanted to do this section right away. The rest of that area that I need to work on I'll just do a little at a time as I have the opportunity. I also got another good chunk of the lawn raked. I should only have about an hour of raking left, and its on to other stuff outside, like moving the firepit and moving the deck outside.
bb_dl, all these people clamoring for you to make a choice are merely jealous that you have two. :)
So true. Though I don't really have 2, I have the possibility of being able to choose between 2.
It helps a lot if they live in different cities. I dated my now wife in Wilkes-Barre, PA while I was still seeing another lady in Philadelphia a couple hours south. Was an intersting summer....
Yeah, I agree with this. I don't think I would even try if they were both in the cities.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

 The games I've watched have all been close, a ton of OT games. While the teams I'd pull for aren't winning, they've still been entertaining games.

Weird outcomes this year, but on the whole, you're right - the bulk of the games have been tight.

I was tired, and I definitely meant the teams winning are teams that I have no desire to see having success, other than Tampa Bay and Nashville, I hate all the teams left.:p It's been GREAT hockey, I love numerous OT games during the weeks, just not the outcomes I'd like to see.

Mornin' All. FRIDAY!:D

Should be a fairly easy day today, prepping for the AP Government test is pretty much done with, that shouldn't be bad. Finished in AP Calculus, so we're in the process of taking a three day test that is our "final" for the class; we get a day off today, as it's our conference Music Festival today, and many of my classmates are gone. To top it all off, the forecast is 70 with low winds, and low humidity, the BEST golf weather. It'll be the first great golf weather day of the spring. Looking forward to getting done with class around 1, and heading out to the club to enjoy this weather and work on my game.

While at the Golf Club today, I'll find out more on the status of my employment. I decided to atleast pursue the idea of working at the restaurant(s) and see where that takes me as well. Should be interesting to see what happens!

Here's to everyone having a GREAT friday!

p.s. Scarlet, Go Twins!:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

We got the reminder to renew our season Gopher tickets today. I think we're going to just renew 2, instead of 3. Been too hard to get to games now that jr is playing and it's harder to find buyers for 3 than for 2. (Been hard to find buyers period for the past couple seasons.)

It's only going to get harder with Lucia at the helm..;)

I applied for Iowa Hawkeye Football Season tickets this spring; we have two already, but share them with family, and I really want to get my own. I've had money saved since I was like 12 years old for these tickets. I should know sometime soon, but I'm pretty sure I won't get 'em.:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

I should be posting all night long, as I'll have nothing better to do. I'll be running on straight energy drinks, and planting corn from about 6PM until 7AM. Since my dad finally opened up his pocketbook and paid to unlock autosteer, the tractor will drive itself except for turning on the ends, so I'll have plenty of time to be on the internet. I'm also going to stop and pick up a book on my way home.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Good Morning, Lodge!

Another day running around with my head cut off because other cannot do their own *ing job.

On the plus side, I get to take a long lunch today and it is Friday. Compiling a beer list for tonight.

Did I mention I was going to the game tonight? No? I'm going to the Sox-Twins game tonight. Jellus much?? ;)
I'm so jealous! My dad went to Fenway a couple years back while at a business conference, I've always wanted to go, and with the Twins there, I am for sure jealous.:p

bbdl: I miss farming. I don't miss the long overnights, sleeping in the combine with grandpa, but I haven't been down for Harvest in two years. I usually drive the grain cart, but have done combine before as well. With all the new gps and auto steer stuff, riding in the cab isn't all that bad:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

So jr is planning to go to a summer hockey camp up at Breezy Point this summer. He wants to go the last week in July because a former Hornet will be one of the counselors that week. The State soccer tourney is that week and his team has a chance (not a great chance but it could happen) to make it to that level. Should I push him to go to hockey camp the following week? He'll then miss soccer tryouts for next year, but I think this is last year of playing travel soccer anyway. If his team does make it to State I think he'd really miss on the chance to play in a State tourney.

That's a tough call. I've heard that's a pretty good camp, and that would be a good experience for him as well.

I have some of those.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

The long wait is over. Don't be worried, the agony will subside now. Tech has hired a coach.
