Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

DU pounded Ohio State 11-4 in lacrosse yesterday at Peter Barton Stadium on the DU campus. Tomorrow morning Denver plays Fairfield for the ECAC post-season title. The winner of the game receives an automatic berth in the NCAA tourney. DU is a lock to make the NCAA field, but with a win tomorrow, has an extremely good chance at hosting a first round NCAA tourney game. DU's coach is Bill Tierney, now in his second season as the Pioneers' coach, after leading Princeton to six, count 'em SIX, NCAA lacrosse titles. This year's team is 11-2 and his won nine straight games.

The weather forecast for Denver for the next five to six days calls for high temps in the upper seventies with a good chance to pass eighty a time or two. Our first extended burst of spring weather is just about here as it's in the mid seventies right now. Have a good weekend folks.:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Can we quote you on that about half way through next season? :)

Yes, you can. You can't begin to judge a college coach's overall ability until about the third year. Apparently Pearson has told the administrators that he thinks it will take 4-5 years for Tech to be playing .500 hockey again. He'll have a decent group of forwards to work with, so he might be playing it a tad conservative, but I think that's a fair assessment overall based on our lack of depth at D, and the fact that whatever systems he installs will no doubt take some time to sink in.

I agree with that. I just meant that Husky fans will be starting threads to fire him next season, whether warranted or not.

Alumni, Class of 2011, SUNY Maritime College.

However, due to ****ty paperwork processing, I do not have my USCG license in hand. Hopefully it will be ready for when I move to Houston. I do have my diploma, although that doesn't mean as much to me really. Beautiful day, and the family got along well, so it was a very good day.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

long boring day at Balance here. Only had two lousy massages today. one right when I came in, and another one here at quarter to seven. long time to sit here and putter around. here's hoping that a lot of people are out in their gardens this weekend working really hard. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

A balmy eighty-one degrees in Denver right now under cloudy skies. I'm breaking out one of my first frozen margs of the season. Playoff hockey coming up shortly. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Fenway Park is such an AT&T dead zone. My iPhone is useless, much like it was at Target Field.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 134: Huh?

Evening, Lodge.

Got my new running shoes today along with meeting with the artist at AWOL about my new tattoo.
