Trying to troubleshoot some engine problems on a startup......in Australia. It makes it difficult when the engineer on site is on the other side of the world...
Sounds to me like somebody needs to go collect some more FF miles soon. ;)

You'll be a convert. I wasn't a fan of laptops until I got one.
Laptops have their uses, but I'm just far more comfortable with a desktop with an ergonomic keyboard.

Isn't that always the attitude to have at Wal-Mart? I don't know anyone that actually wants to be shopping there.
I've actually run into families that wanted to cause trouble while they were there. One family got tossed out of the store for racing motorized wheelchairs up and down the aisles.

As for my coworkers, no one really wants to be there either; every one I've talked to says we just do what we must to survive.

Good Morning Lodge.

What, no tales of the lovelorn Mavsy today? :p

Things have actually improved a lot in that category lately..:)

I'm playing my first competitive golf in two years this weekend as our club hosts it's annual amateur tournament. I'm playing very well and I'm excited for the opportunity. The field includes a ton of good players including Division I players.

Who are you suing? The club? Why would you do that? What are you hoping to gain?

Hi Lodge. It's Tuesday. Trying to catch up on a lot of things I dropped last week as I was planning for the 4th. Just waiting for a bunch of people to get back to me. I hate that. I get it but my manager is asking me for something and I have to say I'm waiting for something from a vendor, etc. I feel like I'm not doing my job. But I am. I can only bug/nudge people so much.

Doh!

A couple females in their early twenties knocked on the door this morning. Their boat broke down and they swam/walked the boat to shore at our dock. I answered the door and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. . They were wearing white (wet) t shirts and not much else. They were freezing and bummed about the boat and embarrassed about bothering us. Got them in dry cloths they used the phone to call for help. Anyways......wish I was 20 years younger then I would have used old reliable "how you doing?" :D

Two potential reasons: old ladies and large women.
So we move the day to early September and put up fliers all over college campuses. I can take a day off work.

Evening Lodge.

Jr turned 16 today. We bought him a bike instead of a car.
