Rough day. Busier than expected, and based on those expectations, mgmt granted more hours off than were actually needed. Plus side: made up some more time I'm losing on Fri (Fri is no show/no pay; skeleton crew formed).

Yet another totally relaxing evening on the patio, watching baseball/reading a book, except this time I had a Lime-A-Rita in hand. This weather has been amazing this week, and looks like it's going to carry through the weekend. :)

First day of vacation for me. Met a friend for lunch today. Had a Sam Adams Summer Ale at 11:30 am. Ended up having 6 of them.........

Heading to the Lake tomorrow. Hoping its nasty hot and humid for the next 9 days or so. ;)

Edit. I am watching Naked and Afraid on Discovery. Stupid. But I cannot turn the channel............

Hazy hot and humid today, no rain! Things went great. The amount of police/national guard/FBI presence was insane tonight. I can only imagine what it will be like tomorrow. It will be hotter. And more humid. I got to introduce Boston Pops conductor Keith Lockhart to our guests tonight. That was fun. I should probably go to bed and get to sleep. Can't wait for the fireworks tomorrow.

Dad's almost all moved out of the house. Just gotta move his bed tomorrow and then he's out. Then, going to go thru his room, clean it out, and then paint it and then move into his room. Mom wants to reshuffle some things around here, so I get the master bedroom. Just not sure what color to go with it. I'm kind of thinking of going with something bright, but not exactly sure of what kind of hue I want to go with.

During the past few evenings I painted little g's bedroom. Minnesota Vikings colors ( Home Depot has official licensed NFL colors-what a racket). Looks good. Definitely bright. Next little gII's room. Minnesota Twins colors.

If you want bright go with the Vikings colors. Besides, you know you are a queens fan. :p

Yes, a racket when you could probably find the RGB or appropriate pantone and get some no name hardware store do it cheaper.
