Yo. Woke up to the sound of thunder, how far off I sat and wondered.

Then I went back to bed. Gloomy day for weather in the 952, hoping to meet up with BPH later tonight for a brewski.

And soh, you are right, the new Daft Punk is pretty darn good (created a Daft station on IHeartRadio).

I did the same. Actually, the first time I woke up the rain was hitting my roof so hard that it woke me. I then fell asleep again, only to awake to thunder that just wouldn't stop. It was like a woman on the phone.

The storm didn't wake me up, actually. I woke up on my own around 6am (still can't figure why I wake up that early on weekends and not during the week). Heard it storming like crazy, so I moved to my couch and watched it storm and dozed off for another hour or so.

Pond is up a good foot at least, almost to the garden. Wonder how much rain we got.

Reports are up to 5" in 4 hours in some places.

My patio is 7 boards deep. Normal rain covers about 3 boards (due to overhang) with rain. Decent storm covers 5. Huge storm covers all the boards. It was all the boards this morning.

Heard the storms. Rolled back over. Lazy day today. Might get caught up on the side business before the fall craft fairs start up.

Good morning Lodge.

Cloudy but muggy here.

Breakfast has been served and I went for a quick swim.

Little gII has been catching little sunnies off the dock all week. (He is just starting to get comfortable with baiting his own hook and removing fish from his hook.) While I was swimming I heard him scream like a little school girl. I rushed over to investigate. He had a decent fish on the other end and he was in full blown panic mode. His little Toy Story fishing rod was screaming. I helped him out........he caught about a 4 pound large mouth bass.

One of the few times I have fished, used corn kernels as bait. Sunnies loved 'em.

Loved when the severe weather alert on my phone went off at 6am....for flooding in F-ing Bemidji. :mad:

Beautiful night out. Plans with BPH fell through, so we're meeting up tomorrow. It better not rain.
