Good evening Lodge.

Another hot and sunny day in 320ville. The g family spent nearly the entire day on jet skis cruising around the lake.

Two more days on the lake and then back to reality.

Took Jr and a buddy to watch the Wild prospects scrimmage. Got a little boring so we headed for Mariucci to see the Cup. The two boys saw the line out the door and down the sidewalk and both said "we've seen the Cup before." So we headed home.

Jet skis are the most annoying conveyance known to man. Constant buzzing around disturbing the peace at the beach. I favor using rocket launchers to pick them off. I'm sure they're fun as hell while riding, but they are usually driven by the biggest d-bags on the lake/ocean/bay.

You're in if you want to. I'm sick of asking around and we need someone who can actually hit a golf ball consistently well...because it isn't bigblue, me or robo right now. Just let me know if you're definitely in...it is $150 but that does include driving range starting at 11:30, golf, and dinner.

11:30am – Check-in opens (range balls will be provided)
1:00pm – Shot Gun
5:30 – 6:45pm – Social

2 of our 3 machines are now out of order at offsite.

Guy who runs our whole branch is taking a promotion to Chicago (our HQ). Great guy to work for, as he knows the toils of the peons. He started as a truck loader (which is a rookie job because you don't know how to do anything else), and worked his way up with no college degree. We've been the #1 building of our designation/size in the nation since before I started working there.

Was beyond busy; even had a 17-pallet order hit the offsite...after our 2nd machine went down (one guy would pick all the stuff, the other guy would prep/ship all the stuff; tediious).

Needless to say, on the way home I bought some kittens and burlap sacks and am heading to the lake.

I agree with you about jet skis. I usually can't stand them while trying to enjoy what the lake has to offer. Today our neighbor offered their jet skis and we couldn't pass them up. For the record, for the most part we casually drove them around the lake rather than the usual screaming around kind of stuff.

No. 20 mph broadside wind with essentially a 600 ft sail out in front of me with my empty barges.

Drunk pleasure boaters would have been a walk in the park compared to the BS this afternoon was. Oh well, today is another day, and really, I handled yesterday about as well as I could have even hoped for.

Oh, I could see how that might make things a bit interesting.

I've got two old ones out in the barn that I could let you have. They're a little cracked, but they should last long enough for what you need them for.

Jetskis are indeed annoying. But they are super effing fun to ride. I try my best to identify fishermen and people relaxing on their docks and stay a good distance away.
