Good evening Lodge.

Good to be back home.

Went and watched Despicable Me 2. It's ok. Theater had 2 of the shows playing at once. Show one was sold out. We were sent to show number two. We were the only ones in there. Sort of fun as the g family spread out and had fun talking back and forth to one another.

That would be awesome. I've always wanted to have that situation with friends at a movie, so we could....offer commentary on the movie and advice to the characters. ;)

I would have killed for that to happen back in the day when going on a date. If you know what I mean. Wink wink. :)

The one time I was in that situation...was for The Hurt Locker. Yeah, not much talking to be done.

Concert was excellent. Jake Owen performed with his arm in a sling, his hand completely wrapped, wearing a tight sleeveless Red Sox tshirt and a Red Sox sticker on his sling. And he was barefoot. And I fell a little bit in love. Would love to know what happened there as it looked serious. bbdl - do you know?

Miranda was great. Though I don't think her voice is meant for a venue like that. I couldn't really hear her on some songs. Patty Loveless showed up for one of songs. That was pretty awesome. I love her.

Jason Akdean was phenomenal. What a great performer. I'm going to have to download some of his stuff. Apparently tonight's show broke the record for the largest concert ever at Febwat. During the same week that Sir Paul McCartney played there.

Fun night, great weather, parked at a meter for $1.75 instead if a lot or garage for $40. Seats were great, too.

I went to see Casino Royale after it had been out for about a month. I was the only person in the entire theater. I'm a little curious if that screen would have been used at all if I hadn't bought that ticket.

My cousin (big car guy) and I went to see Gone in 60 Seconds when it was in theaters and had the place to ourselves, no, that's not what I mean. No Wink Wink here.

This morning was nice. Then humidity went, "SURPRISE! * YOU!" and showed up in spades. Holy buckets.

Had a nice lunch with BPH, talked about the slew of upcoming events that quite a few USCHOers and GPLers have in the next month (and it's not even hockey season!). Time to zone out and turn this back into a Pile Sunday.

Lots of humidity here in 202, 301, and 703 lands, but otherwise a fine day.

Yep, pretty stick here. Got some yard work done, and I do need to go pick up some paint today for my new bedroom.
