On another topic entirely, I chopped off all my hair tonight. It had been about 5" long, grown out so I could manage it with one hand while in the sling, but it was driving me nuts for the last few days as hair was getting into my eyebrows, making them itch and creating a distraction at the edge of my vision. My hair is now #4 long.

I have been on vacation since 7/2. Haven't shaved since 7/1. It has been a long time since I have grown out the beard. F an a I hate shaving every day and fwiw I hate wearing a suit and tie.......

The old bird's is thick & grows fast, about 2 to 2.5 weeks for me.

The beard? I unfortunately get a 5 o'clock shadow at noon. Hence my perpetual lazy stubble/3 day beard. Unless it's a special event, I just trim, and not shave.

Insert lady joke here.

Mine grows really fast too, which is why I didn't cut it short before my surgery. I didn't want tiny hairs imbedded into my sling when I'd have to cut it all down again some 2 weeks later. And I kept it at a 4 this time, but was thinking about a #2. I decided not to go so drastic in the changing appearance this time.

ETA: And I just realized that I quoted the wrong post. Yup. I'm an idiot.

Although, my beard's kept at a #2. Like Brent, I get he 5 o'clock shadow sometime around noon, and just decided to grow it out with exception to my neck area. I shave that daily just to make it look like I'm trying for my professional appearance in the office.

Also, and this is just an added benefit, I recently read that it's much better for your face to not shave the beard daily. Obviously, you skip the razor burn and stuff like that, but there were other benefits that I don't remember. I only remembered that it meant that I rock and that all of my choices are the right ones.

My hair grows really quick, I just let it get long before I cut it. My facial hair grows painfully slow, unfortunately. It also stops at a relatively short length. Ticks me off.

Sucky news for the boss' dad today, losing his right leg just above the knee on Friday.
F* Diabetes. :(

I get serious hat hair when it's longer, lover the freedom of being able to wear a hat....and take it off. :)
Plus, the fact I get a buzz cut drives my mom insane. Yep, I'm 46 and still taking the opportunity to give ma a hard time. :D

I'm similar. My dad was a wookie and my mom was a muppet. ;)

The speakers on the laptop are not great. MP3 playback isn't the best sounding experience with the Alabama Shakes album.

Speakers are never great on a lappy. I suppose there's some super-techy fix, but that's not for me.

Its a well known fact that if you shave too often, your face will fall off.

Good Morning Lodge.

I bought the Bose wireless speaker. Spendy but worth every penny.
Like they say in the sound business "no highs, no lows, must be Bose." ;) I think I first heard that from my cousin, the electrical engineer and sound man who used to work for Bose.

I never shave clean. I get tons of nasty ingrown hairs on my face when I do shave clean, and I was never able to find a way to get rid of them. I haven't been clean shaven in 8 or 9 years.
