Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Good morning. Sunshine, blue skies and cold air in Denver as it's a brisk twelve degrees in my neighborhood at present.

My second cuppa coffee is in hand and all's well.:)
Nice. I had my usual pot of coffee this morning to go with breakfast... can't stop drinking it...

He's probably already set up a spreadsheet of when he pooped, how much came out by mass/volume, format of poop, etc.
And he's probably turned the bathroom into a workstation. Gotta have something to do if you're going to be on the john all night...

Evening, Lodge. Leaving work tonight, I was told it was snowing really bad outside. I get outside only to find a light snow falling...

2010 taxes complete and e-filed. Always glad to be done, especially when I am getting money back.

watching my first ever episode of "pawn stars"... who knew?!?!? :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

Got frostbite today, on my face.

Decided to get some good food again tonight. Ended up with a medium rare New York Strip covered in a truffle butter and fois gras, served with wasabi garlic mashed potatoes, and a glass of Woodford Reserve on the rocks to go with it.

Also, passed the UNO team bus on the way back to the hotel.

I have two things going for me. 1) My W-2s are available online so I don't have to wait the extra week for them to arrive via mail, and 2) I can file an 1040EZ nearly every year. So I will have my return by Feb 4th according to the IRS website chart.

Only thing I have to do is print out the M1PR form, pre-filled out, and mail it in so I get the renter return money in September.

I could have done the same as a federal employee but I don't particularly care that much.

I thought the IRS wasn't going to have the forms ready for another month though?

It is 7 degrees in Moscow, 3 degrees in Nome, -13 in Yellowknife, 14 degrees in Greenland, -16 in Embarrass, MN, 12 in Vladivostok, -4 in Murmansk. But don't worry, because it is -28 in Grand Forks! (that is not counting wind)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 128: The Search for Wenches

It's -13 in Farmington. I just got done shoveling some drifted snow from my drive and the wind trap that is my front porch. I could have rehydrated myself with the ice that had formed in my beard while I was out there.

It's balmy here at -7 (-25 windchill).

I've been working at our off-site warehouse all week, and due to lack of machinery (conveyors, etc) and people (I'm the only one there, it's a decent-sized area) it's not that warm. I'd estimate it to be about 50-60 degrees, tops. At the main building? Probably around 80 degrees. :(

Oh, I really feel sorry for you, working in that horrible cold.
