Afternoon, Lodgers! Still trying to get this EMT thing resolved - you would think that they would at least have the courtesy to answer emails and phone messages. Sheesh!!

CC isn't that great, but is beating MSU. So if Tech gets lucky against Michigan they could finally win one.

Plenty of * hockey potential for me this weekend. I fly tomorrow to Milwaukee, then head out to Madison to catch the UMass Minutemen take on the Badgers. Then on New Year's Day, drive from Madison down to Hoffman Estates, or Elgin (which is where I believe the arena is), IL to catch BU in the Shil-however-you-spell-it Tournament. The Terriers take on Brown, who they had a heck of a time with on Thanksgiving Weekend. Just finished packing. I should get to bed early. I hope I have no flight issues. Lotsa flying and driving this trip. I hope the weather cooperates!!

I think allstate arena is closer to o'hare. Girls bil lives in Elgin. Been there. Riverboat casino, that's it! :(

question for the techies...

I saw a guy on the subway with a Tech husky dog logo on the sleeve of his jacket and with "GL" in a red circle that had lettering in it but I wasn't able to get a good enough look. Any ideas?

That's the GLI (holiday tourney) jacket that Tech players/staff get. I saw a few around campus in my day.

ok... that it could have been. Thought about bothering him but I saw it while switching trains which can be chaotic.

edit: It was an older gentleman... probably a parent but who knows.

Well, I'm still at the * hockey bar, but it's hard to be upset about that performance.

Tech tied the game not once, but twice in the third period, but MNS'd it away soon after both times.
