Congratulations, Ralph! My dad retired at 58 and never looked back. Did some (very) part-time consulting work for a couple of years but quickly tired of it and slipped into full time six Saturdays and a fat paper mode. :)

For me today is Monday :( and Friday:).

Congrats... but like others, the idea of retirement is a strange one... hopefully you find enough to do with yourself.

The WiFi in the Cleveland airport blows. I am forced to post from my work Blackberry which means I am also checking email. My flight to Milwaukee is delayed. Not sure why as the plane is here.

Hi little gII!

Busy afternoon for me today. Four rubs, with one of them that should be showing up soon. And I thought I might get out of here early today.

One of my BU roomies, when his dad retired he bought himself a backloader and would go in the back yard and dig holes, then fill them up. Over an over. Every day.

He loved it!!

congrats on the retirement, grandpa Ralph. :)

So...after four months of having to commute to Greensboro...after 4 months of stress and restless sleep, I finally got crew scheduling to put me on reserve in Denver! It was a stroke of luck, but somehow, I'll be spending the first 9 days of January in Denver. Also, I get a 2 day trip tomorrow, which means I'm in San Antonio tomorrow night. And can go see DU on New Years Day play the gocats.

First sign that maybe things will be ok with this company...

Finished work for the yr. yeah! The NP who I was excited was leaving changed her mind and is now staying. Boooo! Serious bummer!

It's a cold, gray, snowy, wintry late afternoon/early evening here in Denver. It's a perfect night to stay home, grill some ribeye steaks, open a nice bottle of wine and watch a bowl game or two. And that's exactly what we'll be doing. Have a good night all. :)
