Upgraded my phone today after 2+ years. Went from a Blackberry Storm (1st ed) to a Droid X. After the $100 rebate and $50 off its only $149.

Had coffee in there, but nothing was happening. That being said, I'm not too disappointed. I was looking to buy a French press and this just might be the sign I needed.

Evening, Lodge. Spent a good 15 minutes this afternoon talking cheese with The Cheese Lady; picked up some Gruyere and some English Cheddar for ham, gruyere, and apple paninis tomorrow night. Might even take it to the next level and try making a croque monsieur. :D

Ham, gruyere and apple paninis? Hmmm, I might have to pass that one along to the Executive Chef here at Chez Shot!;)

Alright Yoopers, the HP1015 to Tech MLK weekend is beginning to take shape. I now have a place to crash in Buffalo Thursday night. Now I need some help on that end, anybody feeling generous? Penciling in leaving Buffalo super early Friday, driving probably through Canada and crossing at port huron most likely (or would it be better to cross up at the soo? anybody ever make that drive?), then coming back east probably sunday night, although may try and stay with the same friend Sunday night possibly. Who else would be up there that weekend?

I would plan on crossing into Michigan at Port Huron. You would be on an interstate longer and should have less worries about lake effect as well going thru Michigan.

Plus, you would get to drive over the Mac that way as well.

Try the tech thread, and your best bet would be try either crazypotatoes or techcodemonkey, but if you stay with one of those id suggest bring your skis

Morning!

Went and had some coffee, stopped at the grocery store for a few items (incl. bacon!). Looking forward to doing nothing else today. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 127: So This is the New Year...

Good morning. One more day of sunshine here in Denver before the weather guessers have promised snow on Thursday and Friday. In Denver the "early snow season" is defined as running from September 1st through December 31st. In the current early snow season Denver has received 1.5 inches of snow. The driest early snow season on record for Denver is 3.8 inches of snow. Unless Denver receives 2.3 or more inches of snow by midnight on the 31st this year will go down as being the driest early snow season in the city's history.

Meanwhile, an hour and a half west of the city in Summit County, it continues to be a banner early season for the ski resorts. Gotta love living in Denver.;)

Good morning, Lodge! Woke up at 5:30, had breakfast, and went back to sleep. Thankfully, I woke up in time to catch Smokey and the Bandit on Encore. :)
