Reining is over, and football is on. And mom is fixing steak. :-D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 122: Autumn has arrived.

w.t.f.
I tore apart the rear brake/bearing housing on the 4-wheeler, the bearings are intact and turn smoothly and there is nothing buggered up in the brake, all of the brake mechanisms in the drum seem to be moving and working right. Where the hell is all the heat and friction coming from? That area was so hot that I couldn't touch it after the last time I rode, there has to be a reason for the heat!

Got an infrared thermometer? Take it for a ride and then check temps, where its the hottest is your problem, I'd guess brakes if it was that hot

Its all torn apart now, I think I'll replace the bearings since I have it all torn down. Then just put it all together and see how it works, I'm stumped. I know where the heat was coming from, it was obvious when I was running it, but in that area is where everything looks fine.

right, but for the HS sports stuff you don't need to go... just drop him off and work on drinking coffee.
True.

 Whoa. Now I see the need for a separate Frosh race! How many teams were there?

Afternoon, Lodge. I'm not sure the Lions were much worse than the Vikes today! Mentioned the game to Mom, and she thinks Favre will get injured next game and call it quits honorably. :o

Also, Paulaner Wiesn and Spaten Oktoberfest both go down very easily.

Niiiiiice!!
And, once again, awesome job, Lil! :D

Just reading through those results made me miss XC.

Getting involved in Lils Jr High Track thing last yr made me realize how much I missed helping out. H.S. is definitely way different than College level!

You should lose all your rep for doing that:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 122: Autumn has arrived.

Well, kinda got the 4-wheeler fixed. Figured out that the brake was sticking and must have broke free when I was taking it all apart so I didn't notice it right away. So I greased it all up so everything was moving like it was supposed to, and replaced the bearings and seals. Unfortunately when I was pressing the bearings into their housing I busted up a brake shoe, so I put it together without brakes. Brakes really aren't needed anyway. It was a little bit of a challenge to get it up the ramps into the back of the truck without brakes, hit the front of the bed a little hard and dented it up a bit, but didn't cause any real damage.

I felt compelled to point out that over 4 hours without a post in tLodge was not right. :D
