G'day Loj. Went to the optometrist last night, I officially need glasses, but only for the computer. I'm OK with it, I still have better vision than most referees. Still 20/20 somehow. Hmmm.

I just found out I opened the scoring in the Dead Pool.

I got to spend 12k today at work. Big kid jobs are fun! We're opening a martini lounge and got a bunch of "modern" white leather and zebra print sectional furniture. Now, of course, we must accessorize. This means I'm going with my boss to Green Bay in a couple of weeks to spend a day shopping.

As we were looking for martini glasses, we found the COOLEST things. Inside out martini glasses. Google it and check it out.

Call me crazy, but something about a martini bar in northern Wisconsin doesn't scream financial success.

Then again, the Red Carpet in St, Clooud does have that martini lounge on the top floor...

So basically, you're trying to get me to visit?

All I seem to get around here is free stress. Handed out often.

We get that too.

I have been wondering for several years where the money actually comes from to pay for that ice cream. I forget the name of the organization, but they have mentioned in the fine print that it isn't taxpayer money.

~198$ in jeans and other things fot the Lil who is too tall for his clothes. No time for him to go shopping. Had a huge coupon that ended today so I bought everything and will return what he can't wear.

~new compost thing in and started

~still haven't planted the perennials I got at Lowes- about 100+ dollars worth for 12.98. I love clearance!!

Now to get the veggies ready for the potroast. Why did it decide to be 90F when I am making potroast??

Later- 2 back to back hockey games.

I am tired.

I must learn not to read so fast. On first scan I read "Now to get the veggies ready for the pederast." It sounded scary after you talked about Lil.

But, look at it this way. The bigwigs (and their wives) from Marinette Marine, DeCrane, Tyco, etc. may frequent it. Seeing as how the only place like it around, it's got that going for it.

Please don't compare it to anything in St, Clouud.

So basically, you're trying to get me to visit?

That is indeed the goal.

Mmmm, pot roast. Making pork chops with spinach and mashed sweet potatoes here.

They sound equally good. I didn't get the time to make chowdah this afternoon. :( Tomorrow for sure though.
