My AIC tribute band is playing the Hard Rock Cafe October 1st. The regular drummer can't make it, so the drummer for my other cover band is filling in. I like that. The regular drummer is absolutely fantastic, but I've played with the other guy for a couple of years now and we really lock in together. Plus we've been playing AIC songs in that cover band from the beginning, so it won't be much for him to learn.

So yeah, I'm pretty psyched about that.

Also I laid down the rest of the bass tracks for the metal band's album. And now it's time to leave. I haven't told them yet, but will soon, probably after Thursday's show. I booked the next two shows we have so it wouldn't be that cool to ditch them, but that's it for me.

Yeah, and I'm a 29 year old who hasn't gotten any in 3 years and I still wouldn't have made that connection...

Hey, I haven't gotten COMPLETELY shut out...I've reached 3rd a couple times on a throwing error...

No, you're the Jake Taylor - you had glory days, but now you're injured a lot and hobbling down the first base line trying to leg out weak grounders to short.

Had the same experience with Business Law. Could've been dry, but the prof had plenty of great situational stories related to whatever the topic was that day.

Looks like southern MN will be experiencing its own typhoon of sorts over the next couple days: up to 5" of rain is expected along with the threat of severe weather both this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. :eek:
