Eek! So, does the whole island panic (like the East Coast with Hurricanes) when you get typhoons?

Morning lodge. The countdown begins before I start my new commute from Blaine to Cottage Grove. Those in MN know just about how ****ty that's going to get.

I thought it would be, but it's more like the Midwest at the start of a big blizzard: a general sense of excitement in the air, people hurrying a little more, kids openly talking about hoping that school will be cancelled in the morning. Really!
