And water is STILL wet! :p

Thanks. ;)

It is crazy that I still feel hungover after nearly three days. FWIW I am not a big drinker. I might average one or two drinks a month. For me to drink the amount I did on Saturday and given that I was able to stay composed (for the most part) is amazing.

I knew it was going to be a long day on Sunday when I was woke up by the little gs via a wrestling match on top of me around 6:30 AM.........

Mrs. g sent them in there to wake you, didn't she? That'll teach you to have so much fun. ;)

Well, I was "sleeping" on the floor in the great room still wearing "most" of the stuff I had on the day before. :D

Mrs. g was actually a pretty good sport as she was there for all of it and she was eager to play along as she knows I rarely drink and I think in a way she wanted to see what would happen (she has never really seen me "lit" before). However, she did not feel sorry for me the next day.

I thought it would be, but it's more like the Midwest at the start of a big blizzard: a general sense of excitement in the air, people hurrying a little more, kids openly talking about hoping that school will be cancelled in the morning. Really!
They're hoping that they cancel school in the morning?? during a Typhoon??
I guess I don't need to make a horseshoe reference then? OK, I won't. ;)

I've never seen steel wool used on horses feet before. Mostly just nippers, rasps(big metal file) and a few assorted knives.

Hey Lodge

Just sitting around the hotel room tonight. Tired after the day of travel. Didn't get much done today, but I guess that is expected when I travel half the day and then have about 30 emails to deal with afterwards.

Tomorrow and tonight I'll figure out some places I want to eat while I'm here and then check out the town tomorrow night.

dxmn, I just sent you rep, and realized I didn't sign it, FYI.

Evening everybody,

So 3 classes into my tues night class (3 hours long)... we've spent a whopping 3 hours total in the classroom. I love this professor, although I'm not sure how you can keep college kids in an environmental law and policy class and keep them interested... its a pretty dry subject. Oh, and the professor is flying to London next week to sit in on an international environmental committee for something or other, so no class on week 4 :)

I might be getting out of Greensboro...:)

I had health policy which might be the equivilent of that and the prof was incredible. Dry subject but it was the most engaging class I had in grad school. The dynamics of policy makers fascinate me.

Yep. It's a lot like snow back in Minnesota. School can be cancelled overnight for the next day, or if the storm gets upgraded during the day they can cancel school right there -- and you've got to come get them. They won't send them home on the bus.

That must be interesting when both parents are tied up.

Of course, if you get like this after a week, that explains Bakunin.
No it doesn't. Even when I get some, I'm still like this. My mind is thoroughly polluted with filthy thoughts.
