Oh ****. I think I just inadvertently volunteered to support a generator installation in Colombia. Nothing good can come of going to a part of Colombia where they are off the grid and need generator power. :eek:

If you can fend off the gun-toting meth heads from North Dakota, a couple Colombian nationalists shouldn't be too much trouble. :D

6. To which news source (print or online) do you plan to subscribe, and why? I try to avoid the news. I see headlines on my Yahoo page, but I'm a much happier person living in ignorance. :)
(Actually, I listen to the AM side of the dial a bit and do catch the nightly news from time to time.)

By the way... I've become the newest member to the Tuesday Sucks club. I guess that'll happen when you're just trying to be a good girl and go get a workout in at the gym and some ***clown - though being a nice enough guy - drives into your vehicle because someone waved him across, but he didn't bother to look for himself whether the way was clear. Everything seems to be fine, but I keep looking at my rear wheel where he hit me and can't help but think it looks like it was pushed in an inch or so. Might try to leave here early and swing by one of the shops the insurance people suggested to have it looked at.

I hate agreeing to all this... Besides, there shouldn't be political talk in here :p

But about the books. I love to read, and am usually always in the middle of a book, so if we're on a car trip where I'm not driving I always have lots of books with me. I need to get a Kindle, or one of those new things that the people at Barnes&Noble are showing everyone right now. :)

And as for college hockey, I think it's 25 for us (us being UND haha) although I went to a high school hockey game last night, some elite MN high school league, yay MN... It ended in a tie though, kinda lame lol

Good afternoon tLodge! Just popping in to say 'hi'. I started back to work today, just four hours, but that is enough for me. I really wish I could just retire, but there are bills to pay. Maggie is doing well. I will post pictures one of these days.

Bad news, my homeowners insurance is going to cost more than I was originally quoted. Good news, it is costing more because the house was apprasied at $50,000 more than I paid for it. :eek: :D :D :D

No, I'm happy because I got a really **** good deal on this house.

edit: this was the appraisal that the bank did, to determine if the amount I took out for my mortgage is acceptable. To prevent someone from getting a mortgage for $200,000, when the house is only worth $170,000. The bank thinks the house is worth $50,000 more than I paid, that can't be a bad thing. If anything I'll get out of mortgage insurance that much faster.
