It's a movie filled with roid rage.

The truly amazing thing is Apollo Creed came back from the dead - only to die a meaningless death in a jungle, slain by an alien.

There's a deeper meaning to that, somehow. :o

Evening, Lodge. My last weird dream involved going to work, but I didn't have to work that day since I was going to go see my girlfriend (flying out from MSP), so I hung out in a theater projection room with my friends from Tech until it was time for my flight. But, then someone called me out to... wait tables or something, and a group of hipster-ish guys started hitting on me? I ended up yelling at them in the middle of a fancy dinner because they didn't accept that I wasn't one for that sort of thing, but it turned out that they were apparently way up in the hierarchy of my company and they got me fired. Take THAT, Freud.

Hi Lodge. Off to Walgreens to buy Sudafed. I thought I had some. I'm so stuffed.

LwB - question for you. Have you ever heard of printer that charges $1500 to use a knocked out to white logo??? They printed this cover in question on white paper. I'm thinking they should have easily been able to drop the logo in, regardless of the background. Whoever set up the art files didn't know what they were doing. I'm trying to fight the charge. $1500!!!! Insane!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

1100 miles yesterday/today  ....got home at 4AM and of course I can only sleep until 9.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

You're *ing crazy.

And :( . I feel your pain on the short sleep cycle.

Three drivers....I did about half of it. The toughest part was the last 4 hours through Wiscompton (wipes a tear....my son coined that...raised him correctly :D) early this morning, and through a lot of ground fog.

Wiscompton....I like it. :D I'll save that one for my buddy when I head there next week.

This is from an article on the MN Governor's race:

The contest has turned into a proxy fight over campaign finance reform as gay rights groups protest Target Corp. for contributing money to a group, MN Forward, that ran ads for Ted Emmer, the Republican presumptive nominee to succeed outgoing Tim Pawlenty. The state lawmaker opposes gay marriage, and some Democrats and gay rights activists are calling for a boycott of Target and posting protests on social media websites.
Don't Christian groups boycott Target as well? At this rate, Target will have no customers left. (well, not really, I'm sure I'm not the only one who could care less who got what from Target in the MN governor's race.)

Wow, the beats my one day record of 900 miles. After driving that far in one shot always takes me a day or so to recover.

No, because even guys think Target is great. It's one-stop shopping that isn't Wal-Marx.

I have never heard of that. That is just ridiculous. On the white logo, separations should not have been an issue. Yes it does knockout, but that just means color would not be in the area when plated and printed and, IMO, the prepress department screwed up. The printer is charging you for something that is standard in the printing industry. Say the document is being printed on green paper. That would mean white = green paper. Simple. There should not be such an issue. They are just idiots. I hope this helps.

He did 1100 miles with three drivers. Legal's record is a little short of mine (that Denver drive I did in '08 was about 930 miles - I did that solo with just two stops for gas and one stop to empty the bladder). Quiz has us all beat with the driving record, though - I think she's driven from Boston to Denver in a day and a half (and she's obviously made the Denver-Minneapolis drive a few times and also drove from Denver to Milwaukee in '06).

Well, Quiz is a whole new level of crazy. I mean, she's marrying Bro Gin for Chrissakes.:p
