Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

Home sweet home after 3 months out on the ocean and touring Europe. Got home last night around 5 after sticking around NYC for Saturday to see the Yankees/Boston game.

I was selected from ~200 seniors to steer the ship in from the anchorage, then swapped with another senior at the statue of liberty, very cool honor that I'll remember for the rest of my life. Our captain then introduced me and 2 others to the head of the selection committee for the NY pilot association, which would be a tremendous job opportunity in the future if I can get accepted into their apprentice pilot program once applications open in Jan 2012.

It was a pretty uneventful trip, I'll give a nice recap of the 5-6 places we visited in a couple days hopefully. Now its time to relax for 2 weeks before RA training begins on the 22nd.

That sounds sooooo cool!

In a car driving around the UC Berkeley campus. Scouting areas where we will be shooting. We've been on the road all day. I'm exhausted.

Way to go! :)

Some kind of chicken, a potatoe salad and veggie to be named later.(
Got any leftovers? I'll pick them up tomorrow...

Evening, Lodge. My pizza turned out great! And now I have enough leftovers to last me until Thursday.

Good point. Fire at will.

Any school where people protest the expansion of sports facilities by living in the trees that had to be chopped down should die in a fire.
One of the benefits of going to school in North Dakota. Not only are there not tree huggers...but even if there were, there are no trees!!!

My wife and I began a week's "stay-cation" today by playing a round of golf at a course we hadn't played in three or four years, Broadlands in Westminster. Our tee time was just right as we were the last group teeing off before high school golf season pre-season practice began at the course we were playing.

Struggled a bit in the middle of the round before authoring a strong finish by parring five of the last six holes to finish at eighty for the day. Tomorrow it's on to Applewood in Golden. The weather guessers are suggestinmg temps will be in the low to mid 90s for the next three days. Just might treat ourselves to a cart instead of walking with our pull carts.

I hope everyone's week got off to a good start.:)
