Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

So I arrive at the office and this rusted out piece of crap car is parked next to where I park, in our lot. It looks like it's been there a good chunk of the weekend. When my boss sees this, he's going to flip his ****. This is going to be an interesting morning.

Has anyone seen Trumpet?

There was a flock of about 50 geese in the parking lot where I work this morning, and there was evidence that they also were there a good chunk of the weekend. :D

Lovely.

She hasn't posted since July 19. I think we've been dumped.

The Buick is gone. **** was not flipped. I'm mildly amazed.

Good Morning Lodge.

So you survived the trip to Mall O'Merica?

Yes. Little g loved the adult roller coaster ride. Not bad for a four year old. Little g and I went on that thing 10 times.

Mrs. g nearly filled the mini van with MOA purchases. :o

For some reason I thought the mall would not be that busy. Cripes was I wrong. What a zoo.

Hard to agree with the experts that the economy is in the crapper. Everywhere we went this weekend was packed and people were freely spending their money.

We had a great time in cityslickerville but it is good to be back home.

Good morning lodge.

Holy chit, I am busy today. I have to go back to Grand Forks Wednesday morning. Have tons of stuff to get done before I head up there.

She posted something about a golf outing on Facebook. I thought that was ASaaG's deal.

Better question - has anyone ever seen wT and ASaaG together. ;)

How was the choochoo ride in Cheeseheadburg?

Morning, Lodge.

Hello, Lodge. Remember me? :D

This thread title pretty much explains my whole summer. What's everyone been up to?

Didn't make it. We wussed out as we didn't feel like sitting in a hot train car being that the weather was so hot and humid.

We did visit a transfer station/train yard very close to downtown Mpls. Quite a few trains and a very busy place.

FYI, at least one of their cars has air conditioning. ;) I don't blame you for not wanting to venture across the river, though - it's a long drive.

Pfft. I would have rather taken a drive through the St. Croix area than drive in everymajorroadisunderconstructionopolis. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

Except, the bridge to Cheeseheadburg is under construction too :p

I am so glad that I no longer live in cityslickerville. As much as I miss the options for things to do etc. I do not miss the rat race and traffic. It seems like traffic has gotten much worse in the last couple years.
