Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

Been sitting at the bar the last 2.5 hours.....working. Ugh.
At least not having internet at home gives me an excuse to go to the bar to work, and I've actually gotten a bunch of stuff done! My entire mid-year self-assessment is now done! :D
I might have to do this working from bar thing more often, I am much more likely to get stuff done when I can eat, drink, and watch baseball while working. (as surprising as that is)

Evening, Lodge. Made eggplant parmesan for dinner tonight, and it was good.

Put up a 43, but could have been better.

Saw some friends that I hadn't seen in about 4 months on the 6th hole. Wound up playing with them for 3 holes until it got so dart we couldn't see, and then they decided we're going to have a chipping contest. A few beers later, we took off. It was a great night.

I'm drawing a complete blank here.

Wound up not saying anything. Oh, mookie - he was there with Cleon Daskalakis. I've met Cleon before. I think he would recognize me but he never looked over. I left after the 6th, the Sox were down 6-1. Got home and saw that the Sox scored to make it 6-5. Naturally, they couldn't finish it off. *sigh*

Came home to see here that Coach Parker had bypass surgery. So, that week we were supposed to have a FOH board meeting. I had talked to his assistant that day (mookie - that was when I called to get El Capitan's phone number) and she said that Coach wasn't feeling well, he was going home. That was three days before. Here I thought he had a cold or something! Glad he's OK. And color me surprised that the first off-color post was from Dirty and not our friends up Comm. Ave. :)

"I always love that one." It's from a local sports talk radio show.

And from your earlier post, I would have expected the golf course to look like they just filmed the end of Caddyshack there. ;)

Really mad at my brother right now. He's borrowing the box set of Firefly from a buddy and is watching it now. If I didn't have my NMT exam in a week and a half, I would be down there watching it with him. Did get to watch one episode, don't see why the show didn't have a longer run.

Morning!

Another glorious, hot and humid day in 612.

I think the signs of aging are setting in. I am tired even after I sleep for 7+ hours at night. :(

Soon I will be going to bed at 6 pm, waking up at 4 am and going to Denny's for breakfast.

Off to another NMT review in class today.... Don't wanna go......

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

Good morning, Lodge. One of the local meatpacking plants is conducting interviews for production workers today, so I'm going to check that out, then I'm going to work. Yay.

Morning lodge!

I don't think I'll be quite as busy as I was yesterday, which makes me happy.

Had we played all 11 holes together (until it got too dark to see), it might have.
