Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

Good morning tLodge, happy Tuesday.

Under the heading of be careful what you wish for: I found out yesterday that I will be moving back to the day shift at work, 6am to 2pm, on August 16th. I also found out why, the current day shift supervisor is changing departments. :( This is bad because it means I will be the one coordinating work for my teammates, one of whom follows directions about as well as one of my cats. (not really sure how he passed the bar exam with his apparent level of reading comprehension) The other needs a lesson in what it means to be productive at work. On the good side, I have been told that I will have plenty of support from my manager, which I have a feeling I will need.

Oh, and top of it all, last week I made all of my doctor appointments until Maggie is due -- for the mornings. I'm going to have to change them to the afternoons. (I start going weekly as of next week)

I don't watch much racing, but is the engine in a NASCAR car supposed to come completely out when they crash?
No. They really are supposed to stay in the car. F1 cars, on the other hand...

I thought metro mobility was based at each Denny's location...

No - Old Country Buffet. Common misconception though.

Good luck with your new assignment (promotion?) Your coworkers will know to fear the wrath of a pregnant woman. ;)

Morning, Lodge. I have had the weirdest dreams over the last few days... tonight it was something about fireworks shooting out candy.

Ahhhh, the troff......nothing beats eating out with a bunch of really redneck, fat, & angry people

Good morning....I liked it better when I was on vacation. :)

You'd think! :D

Since we don't work physically in the same office, I'm not even sure that they both know I'm pregnant. :o

Sounds like something Freud would have liked to analyze. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 118: BoredboredboredBORED

I talked to my godfather last night about the house. Its back on the market, so I'm re-submitting my bid. We'll see what happens.

He also said he got a new phone, the Droid X. A snippet of our conversation:
Me: How do you like it?
Him: Oh, it is awesome, it is better than sex. In fact they shouldn't have called it the Droid X, they should have just gotten straight to the point and called it Droid Sex.
:p

All this just before I'm planning on going to go get one, in fact I was planning on going to the Verizon store today, before I had talked to him.

Morning Lodge.

The circle of life in my apartment:

House centipedes eat the bugs.
Kitler eats the house centipedes...

Nothing eats Kitler.

We might have to work on that last part.
