Actually, I'm thinking Sunday.....maybe Monday.......you will be completely worthless, given the weekend you have planned.

Part of Tuesday too.

Evening, Lodge. No free drinks for me, but free brats and hamburgers are good too. (went to an open house for a museum I volunteer at, and did some networking too)

It's one thing to power through a day after one night. It's another thing to power through a day after 2-3 nights (and days, in this case).

I have a cousin Maggie. Unless she's in trouble, then it's Margaret Mary. Which happens a lot when we're around recently.

Whenever you're in trouble with family, it's always your full first name + middle name. If you're REALLY in trouble, it is said in the "quiet yell" voice. It's science.

*sigh* I always was Molly Jo when I was little.
Now, I'm only Molly Jo if I'm in deeeep sheiste. Or they're really disappointed in me. That's the worst. I've never actually been Molly Johanna.

Yeah, she's a good kid, but she REALLY likes to **** her mom (my dad's sister) off...like I did my mom when I was her age. It's mildly funny to watch as an outsider. :p

We were wondering this...

Finished baking mine off and it's almost room temp on the counter. I've altered Bittman's recipe now that I'm comfortable with it. Changed it to 1c. AP, 1c. Whole wheat, 1c. oats., long squirt of honey, and rest of regular recipe. It's heavenly.

Isn't that a great feeling? I keep thinking about that when I get panicked about getting into school or doing well with my post-bacc classes.
It is a great feeling; I look forward to getting out of bed these days.

As for the bread, today I just used 2 cups AP and one cup oats along with a cup of dried cranberries folded in; turned out just fine. My parents said they wanted a loaf of white bread and I decided to oblige them. Next loaf I make for myself will be whole wheat, and I also think I'll be making granola bars and a flatbread for myself tomorrow as well.

I hear ya. You know Big Poppa. Only ONE person calls him by his full name, and that's only if he's in deep sh*. And I've only heard it once (the other times that I have imagined he's been called his full name.....I've ran my arse the hell outta there by that point). His mom (and basically a 2nd mom to us) is someone you don't * with.

You have to do a LOT to p* her off, so you know if she's mad......well, the Enola Gay had nothing on her. ;)

Sitting at my new computer armoire. It is beautiful. Unfortunately my stuff does not all fit in it:( Mr Les keeps telling me that I don't need to solve it all now but I would love to have everything set up. I wish all my stuff was wireless.

Biggest issue- I cannot find a comfortable way to type. My carpal tunnel is going nuts after just trying to post this.:( I might have to learn to touch type after all.

Touch typing is easy. Typing 101 was part of my Senior Slide (HS). Laptops, well, I'm still only sorta used to, but am getting better.

I had a small occasional table, just the right height but everything else jammed into an old kitchen hutch bottom. No problem typing on that. THis is just not right. Still trying but the edge of the desk is jamming against my wrist, forearm or what ever. I should just give up and go to bed. It is midnight and Lil has XC practice at 7 AM. ugh.

Nighty night all

Nah, that's one of the pains that only women should have to endure - like childbirth :)

My wife convinced me to let her wax my upper back/shoulders once. It was kind of like the scene in 40 Year-Old Virgin - what with the shouting, cursing, and bleeding.

Where's that bird-flipping emoticon when you need it...

;)

It wasn't exactly school girl screaming. More like shouting "Jesus H. Tapdancing potato chips! Is there any skin left back there!?" and other exclamations with more colorful language. It wasn't one of my finer moments.
FFiing pansey!! I loudly held my breath a few times, breathed thru it, and didn't have to bite anything or go to screaming obsenities about it.

Yeah, thats when you know you are in Trouble!! And its always one of the few times your parents wouldn't call you by your siblings name either for those of you with siblings, am I right or what?? Never heard Garrett Dean when I was in Trouble, just Matthew Robert!!!
