Morning.

Up much earlier today due to the fact I slept in yesterday and took a 4 hour nap later in the day. :o

Coffee and muffin for breakfast. Now the countdown to the WC Final at 1:30.

Good morning Lodge.

Long time no post.

It has been a good morning so far. I just finished jogging 3 miles and right before that I put on about 15 miles on the bike. My goal is to complete a triathlon next summer.

Taking the little g's to the lake today. The plan is to have the boat pull both the little g's in the tube..............should be interesting.

Are you getting light-block containers? tcbg and I will almost always buy Hood milk because they have white plastic (as opposed to clear), which seems to make the milk last longer. I've had decent luck with their milk (of course, I drink about a gallon a week on my own, which is awesome when you have IBS. :o
No, I'm getting the store brand milk. I don't usually have a problem with other store's brands, but S&S. I usually drink a lot of milk (it's good for Maggie) but I haven't had it bother my IBS -- much.

I bought the buffalo and lentils at Lakeshore Natural Health; the lady who runs the store is pretty nice and gave me more information about iron than Walgreens or the doctor's office ever thought to. Essentially told me to take iron and to get more B vitamins into my diet, and that beef was the best way to go about it.

As for going back to school, I'm going back to earn a certificate in Occupational Therapy.

My Sipper Saturday starts now. :D
Couple other recommendations/comments, take your iron supplements with OJ. The vitamin C will help you absorb the iron. Also, the reason they told you take more B vitamins is that sometimes anemia is caused by a Folic Acid deficiency. Last, caffeine and calcium inhibit the absorption of iron, so don't take your iron with your morning coffee.

I always try to get Polka Dot, its the best tasting milk, and its sold by a small creamery in Hastings, not a huge company like Kemps. Usually you find it in small stores or gas stations not in big grocery stores. Right now I have some generic crap from Target and its not that good.
PET has the worst milk ever. I will go without before buying it again.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 116: Who's to blame for the lack of a new thread this morning?

The end of what has been a terrific two weeks for me and my wife is drawing to a close. We enjoyed an extended July 4th getaway to Breck accompanied by various members of her family. This past week included several family gatherings leading up to a wedding yesterday afternoon. We had a terrific time at last evening's elegent reception and dinner at the Brown Palace. Again we were surrounded by lots of my wife's family and had w onderful time.

We slept in this morning and have been lounging about, reading the paper, and watching the tube. We have a mid-afternoon tee time for a round of golf to bring the weekend and the past two weeks to a leisurely conclusion. It's been great fun. :)

Don't know much about USCHO between 6am and 6.30 am do ya?:p
I thought my blackberry was messed up because when I'd hit the post button it would immediately have an error pop up. I guess it was the board, not the blackberry. :p

Very true. Before I realized that it was a regular occurence at the same time every day, I deleted the duplicate posts.

Does anyone know the exact time that the delayed posting starts and ends? I assume that it is a set time similar to the closing of threads which always happens at 32 minutes after the hour.

It's in a strip mall, and the neighborhood isn't bad at all. It's just a place where the clientele are usually of the redneck variety, who like to chug beer and kick arse, and not necessarily in that order.

yeah, Time Out is in a nice neighborhood, but it's just a shady bar. The girls have been rumored to give "favors". I'd much rather go to the Majors just a quarter-mile to the north of Time Out. There's a really hot cougar that still works there, and still remembers me, even though I'm in there like once a year.

You know, I typically respect what you say, but I have to greatly question you here...

you respect what Brent says?

First triathlon is in the books! Went really well. Twitch, how the *k did you live in Cheyenne?

Very carefully.

Nice city for living (quiet, low crime, etc.) but not much to do. There's always Fort Collins and Denver though.

Part of why I went to Anchorage, actually - believe it or not, this is the biggest city I've ever lived in by about a factor of 4 (~300K including surrounding towns.)

I just made my first solo adventure through the famed Yooper Loop, and now I really see why you all call it the "Yooper Looper Piece of Siht Abortion Intersection." It also doesn't help that some UP drivers find things like turn signals and rearview mirrors optional features on their cars.

Though, hands down, driving through L'Anse/Baraga/the KBIC rez is the worst. For example, I had some bright yellow truck pull out at the blinker at 38 and US 41 in Baraga without looking and without stopping. I had to slam on my brakes to keep from hitting this joker. Chucklefcuk then decides only going 40 is a fantastic idea. Gah...
