Had a couple (overpriced) Oberons on tap tonight - that's a very good summer beer. Shame the band wasn't as good... I expected face-melting funk, and got Solid Gold Oldies.

Boo. What band? Some friends and I used to follow a couple rather religiously due to their talent at covers/getting the crowd involved.

I think the best was this band (Saved By Zero) that had a "Thank You Falettin' Me Be Mice Elf/Alphabet St/Play That Funky Music" medley. It was awesome.

I think it was called Nice 'n Easy. Really talented musicians, but playing lame songs... picture the scene in Blues Brothers where Jake and Elwood find the majority of their old band playing in a lounge. Also, I'm pretty sure I was one of five people in the bar under 50, including the (very attractive) waitresses.

Oof. Yeah not good. There are some good funk/etc bands around. I think the best one remaining (as of the last year) is Power Of 10. They are great.

Hell yes. I go through about 1.5 gallons a week, easily. I heart milk.

Same here, I've had maybe something like 5 jugs tops ever go bad on me I think. Go thru it too fast. at least milk in my cereal every morning, and quite often a glass with dinner. Have cut back a bit on it though as I'm trying to lose some weight.

Grrrrrrr...... another day of NMT down......

There has to be a maintenance time scheduled for the site, either daily, weekly, monthly, or however often. Other sites might choose a time when you're not traditionally at the computer. I'd imagine that including college kids, with their 4AM pass-out times, makes scheduling for USCHO a bit different.
