Good Lord, I think Brock is maturing.
Near-death experiences tend to do that to people. :p

I'm guessing a lot of prop bettors lost money on the "who would swear in the post-fight interview" bet if one existed. Brock used "s.o.b." (didn't actually say the word), while his opponent said the word and a couple f-bombs in his interview.

Talking with Matt, he says the next fight should be around November.

I think someone should spring for PPV on that one and we can split the costs. Brent, isn't your tv 54" or some such ****?

42" Plasma. And if it isn't MN@MTU weekend, and we got people to chip in, I'd prob be fine with that. IIRC, those fights run around $40-50. If that's the case, I think 5-6 people would be prime.

$44.95 for standard, $10 more for HD. Six people would be under $10 per - which is reasonable if they're like me and actually give a **** about the other fights.

Oh we'd go HD for sure. And yes, I like the $10 range for fight nights like this, given that every one could end in a minute. Been burned too many times on boxing during the Holyfield/Tyson/Lewis days.

Typically a couple will end quickly with the rest going deep into the 1st or 2nd rounds with the occasional one going to a decision.

And at $10~ I don't really care. ;)

The MST2K factor would make it worth it on its own. :D

That goes without saying. Sadly, I haven't seen too many comical moments in UFC fights lately; I don't know if anything will top the Dream(I think that was the org running it) fight where this big fat guy got hit in the junk. When that happens, they give a 5 minute cooldown period before continuing. After he lost the fight, the other guy told him he could hit him in the junk - so he did (the fat guy was a last minute substitution and was a training partner with the other guy).

Oh, we'd find a way. You know us. :)

I'm sure I'd find a way. It helps to have other d-bags willing to step into the void when I need to take a breather from mouthing off, though. Does bbdl like this ****?

I dunno, but I bet we could get the ususal suspects over, given that the theme will be making fun of stuff, cheering on a MN boy, and having a couple drinks.

Assigning roles in that movie to this group would be humorous.

I like the idea of being overlooked and killing everyone and getting away with it.

Ralph, do you ever sleep?

I could see you in the Gabriel Byrnes role. Bitter, cynical. I think I'd either be the Benicio role or Kevin Pollack role. Total smartarse.

Who'd be the gimp?

MNS. Duh.

And he's not really attached to the blonde, given his reactions to her "I love you" and such. :p
