It's Party Central at Chez Shot this weekend. A twenty-five year old female second cousin of Mrs. Shot is getting married next month. In adavnce of that, we are throwing the bride-to-be and her fiance a bridal shower tomorrow evening.

Forty or so guests for drinks, dinner and the works. Lots of prep been going on for the last several weeks. Mrs. Shot has gone above and beyond the call of duty on this one. She and the bride's father are first cousins and have been lifelong close friends.

The guest list includes half a dozen or so couples of our vintage and the rest are kids in the twenty-five to thirty year old age bracket. Looking forward to an enjoyable evening. Lots of cleanup tomorrow night and Sunday morning. Have a good weekend all.:)

Okay, for all who disagree with me on when the weekend truly begins (see related poll), here's proof that it begins by lunchtime Friday at the latest: There have been only three posts in our vaunted thread in the last four hours!

You guys are already out drinking, aren't you?

Okay, so I'll continue my monologue whilst watching the clock here at work...

I got gray-repped for some Nebraska jokes I posted in the University of Nebraska thread. Some people are so thin-skinned!

Only real complaint I have about viewing the USCHO forum on the ipod is that its not nearly as easy to do as it on a regular PC or Laptop. Odd thing is that another MB I'm on, which runs about the same software package as what USCHO does, looks and runs about the same on an iPod as what it does on a regular PC. Odd, but they took the time to make their MB more Mobile user friendly.

Speaking of USCHO on the iPod, I must be using the wrong link or something. When I got to the Cafe on my iPod, I can't see the polls section. What url did you enter to access the board?

I wish. I was taking a nap and then putting my computer stuff in the proper bags so we can leave tomorrow. I'm still not sure how we are getting everything and everyone into the car. :o

What's really freaky is if you crank it, on surround sound, and you're in a dark room (as in little to no light at all). :D

Good Evening, Lodge!

It is too humid outside to do anything, so I am spending the night indoors, with air conditioning, and enjoying my beer. Wait...I do that everyday that I am not working or have to work the next day.

Good night (Good morning? ;)) lodge. After a big afternoon picnic, I'm off to northern lower MI this evening for a week. Mainly the Presque Isle area, for those of you in the know.

Glad I'm not going there today but I am headed downeast to work, slow all last week, 5pm on friday the phone rings and I'm up early to go, bye:D
