Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 114: Who gives a...

*ing morning. Yay 24 oz Monster.

Supposed to go to the zoo today with my family. Was supposed to a couple weeks ago, but SIL was sick. So now it's today. Maybe. Have to wait until SIL declares her bidding.

I wanna punch a crippled puppy in the face right now. I hate mornings.

So you didn't wake up early to watch soccer? ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 114: Who gives a...

Back from groceries. Saw a prime example of why families should not marry inside of themselves. Some idiot was in there yelling at his kids. And let me tell you, this chucklehead was a real winner. A WV hat on backwards, thick black framed glasses, wearing some sweat-stained T-shirt from softball and flip flops. The kids looked like they had haircuts straight out of 1981. With his genepool, those kids are ****ed. I'm hoping they are twins or triplets (I didn't count how many there were), because I find it hard to believe somebody ****ed this guy more than once. And if she did, I'd hate to see what the mother looks like.

MEUSA must be on vacation.
Kinda sorta. Left early Friday morning and got home around noon today. Didn't bring the laptop and was only able to read a few posts on my BlackBerry.

Did I miss anything around here? :D

Greetings Lodge,Things I learned from my Europe trip:
-Icelanders once had a demonstration involving cutlery and massive swearing.
-Bjork is named after a birch tree.
-People in Iceland enjoy watching puffins and whales. And then killing them.
-Vulcanologists sometimes turn off plane engines.
-Do not eat at fish buffets
-Viking democracy involved lots of beer and lots of witch burning
-If you want to become an alcoholic, move to Edinburgh.
-Glaswegian women are HOT.
-The British bus system can not be trusted.
-In Scotland, it's okay to walk around shirtless, dress your children up in Celtic's awful black and neon yellow road uniforms, and drink something called "Irn Brn" which will eventually kill me.
-You can not go anywhere in Edinburgh without hearing bagpipes. It's as awful as it sounds.
-Guinness is much better in the British Isles.
-Freddy Meyer is a hack

Yes.

I was gonna watch Sanjuro (Akira Kurosawa's sequel to Yojimbo) but after watching War, Inc., that kinda ruined my movie mood. The highlight to War, Inc. was Hilary Duff's acting. Yes, I just said that. And she does a great job in it.
I rented War, Inc. once. Had no real clue what it was about. NPB.

Satire on how corporations run the wars/politics. Generally a swipe at the Bush administration, but overall just a general swipe at politics/corporations in general.

transformers 1 is on tbs... i now don't need to think about going back to the nba officials show.:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 114: Who gives a...

I think my shredder is broken. I moved it out here to the living room so I could shred while watching the Celtics game. Moved it back into the second bedroom where it resides, found two more things to shred and plugged it in and it wouldn't work.  I hope I didn't overdo it. Crap. I don't want to buy another one.

So, I opened a piece of mail that isn't mine. The last couple of days I've grabbed my mail and just threw it on the table. I went to open everything and opened from the back without looking at the address - I thought it was another credit card offer. Turns out it was a wire transfer confirmation. Oops. Not sure what to do here. I didn't realize it wasn't addressed to me. It must have just gotten stuck in a pile of mail. Not my name, different street address, same unit # and city and state. How did the postal worker not see it was a totally different address? Should I just put it back in my mailbox with a post it note?

We ended up watching it, which is why I said it was NPB. HN and I were kind of scratching our heads afterward, but glad I picked it out.

just throw it out... 99% sure that they already now about it.

Should I just put it back in my mailbox with a post it note?

That's probably the best bet.

And congrats, you are now a potential felon:

* It is a Federal crime and up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine to hide keep or open others peoples mail without permission if you are reported you will want to return the mail to the post office.

* It is a Federal Offense. Even the person who delivery your mail and keeps any mail or ceases to deliver that mail and keeps it can lose their job, fine or put in prison. If an envelope is addressed to two people then either of those two people have the right to open that mail.

Way to go, Scarlet!!!! :D
