I avoid milk/cream stouts altogether (and I almost exclusively drink stouts). I know they don't contain milk/cream (they contain lactose), but I had a projectile vomiting incident after drinking one beer and it's made me wary of them ever since.

Cream ale really isn't supposed to be "creamy" nor does it contain actual cream. It's more or less an ale version of a macro lager, but with less adjunct malt and slightly more hops. Spotted Cow is probably the best example.

Nah, nothing to do with cream, really. Just a trade name for an ale that's supposed to be pretty close to a lager in taste and consistency.

Ah, got it. I hear "more hops" and I hear "get ready to shave your tongue." Kinda the opposite of what I imagine a cream ale to be. :o

"Slightly more" than Bud Light is still almost no hops. :p They're very mild beers (and not related to cream stouts either, 'ewe.)

In the pre-prohibition days, they actually used to be dry-hopped and had a marginally stronger flavor (just like most macro lagers). Nowadays, they're mainly just mild beers done by microbreweries as their product for the sort who usually drink corn soda. ;)

I forgot to sign in. :o
 The morning doesn't start until you have signed in.

I would like to be rich. Can anyone arrange this? Lil has something every night this week. 2 track things (see rant in sports parenting thread- never thought it was possible to fix a track meet but I observed it being done yesterday) and Lax Tu, Thu, Fri and Sun. This is rec lax for pete's sake! Mr is travelling part of the week. I am a taxi and I am tired. It is only Tuesday. :(

Good Morning, Lodge!

Rainy day down here in SE Wisconsin. I didn't even know it was suppose to rain. The humidity is ridiculous to the point that it is hard to breathe and my sinuses are acting up. It is going to be a long day. :(

This post is worthless without pictures.
You want him to post pictures of himself going to bed? ;)

This is good to know...

Good morning Lodge. I just realized I forgot my hairbrush. And there doesn't appear to be a CVS type of store anywhere near this hotel. Crap.
