Howdy Folks
Looks like another beautiful spring day

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #111: Filling in for the night shift

I saw the little girl video with the Beyonce song. And- I saw the parents who tried to say it was being taken out of context. People like that should not be allowed to reproduce.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! terrible tuesday is here .

Another day, another day we didn't play the lottery and need to head to work. Sigh.

Morning Lodge

Truly spectacular dawn. Like the AM weather guy said "Despite putting up with Minnesota's bad weather, just when you've had enough, it fixes itself"

We are in the middle of a magnificent stretch of weather. :)

Good morning, partiers! Today is going to be a short-lived work day, with the seasonal picnic from 1200-1330. After that, I plan to make myself much less visible around here.

I'm building a firepit at the homestead and hope to complete it today.

Beer goes great in any weather. :D

FYP

Morning Lodge!

Kid got his Firearm Safety Certificate last night (I took the test on a lark and outscored him even though I didn't sit through his classes, we may be reviewing his book some more before he's allowed to handle a firearm:rolleyes: ).

Looking forward to another thumping in kid soccer tonight. This time at the hands of the club from Scooby's town.

Much like the "Drunk cheesehead of the day" thread implies there might be sober cheeseheads the above statement implies there might be bad beer drinking weather. :D

I meant that beer specifically goes great with warm/hot weather. Not that any other time was not a good time to drink (beer or otherwise). :p :D

Or if you don't drink, Lemonade is great as well.

Mornin' Loj! My boy turns 6 months old today. Man, time flies. His first tooth broke the surface yesterday. Fun stuff.

Really? It's been six months??!

Wow
It's so unfair that as you get older time goes by faster. If I were in 4th or 5th grade right now I'd be aching for the end of the school year to end in what, 3-4 weeks? It would seem like a year. :(

Getting any sleep yet? ;)

For the most part he sleeps pretty well. Goes to sleep about 9:30-10 and wakes up about 6-6:30. For the last month he's had a few nights where he wakes up at 4-4:30 and eats then goes back to sleep. Based on some of the horror stories I've heard of people with infants, I'd consider us pretty lucky in that regard.
