That would be my ideal shift. However, as one who is aspiring to work in a school, it's not looking too likely for me. :(

It's a little tough during hockey season for me, with the 7pm Gopher starts. :o

If I get a day position, my hours would be 7a-3:30p. While that leaves evenings completely open, it also means waking up at 5:30 everyday.

Don't you live something like 5 miles from that hospital? Why the * would you have to wake up two hours before your shift starts? I have to only because it takes me an hour to get into downtown from out here BFE Farmington.

That's the tour I worked at Cheyenne. It's a great shift, because if you have errands you can sneak them in after work before everything closes.

Going to Vegas again in June. This trip promises to be much more fuzzy than the last.

There's a lot of stoplights on my commute, so in heavy traffic, it takes 20 minutes. I'd have to get up 90 min before the shift starts to give myself time to shower / eat / wake up before heading over there.

I am about 7-8 miles from work, I usually get up at 8 (start at 10). Do the 3 S's, check my email/fantasy sports/etc, and get to work about 40 minutes beforehand to read the paper, etc. Kinda helps me warm up for the day.

'Morning, Lodge!
I'm subbing for another member of the Special Ed. department today, then working a track meet after school. It's not supposed to top 50 today. Awesome.

I recall that I somehow got into NJHS at the last minute without doing any of the community service. They just put the cords around my neck and handed me a certificate at 8th grade graduation. :o

Then I got to high school and actually did have to work to get into NHS. ;)

And congrats to LwB!

They had to file some paperwork or no go. The community service thing isn't a problem because his church stuff counts. (Thank goodness)

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! 'thursty' thursday has arrived

Proud parent warning----Lil had his first track meet yesterday (busy day yesterday). He doubled the mile and the half, did a relay and long jumped. I was exhausted watching him. Hadn't seen him long jump before. Was shocked. The kid flies?! Can run too- dropped >20 seconds off both his long races. Now he just needs to hit puberty so he catches up with the six footers. (some 8th grader ran a 55 sec 400. That is ridiculous. )
