He seems to be the least likely candidate, and those are the ones you have to wonder about.
And the big mega-birthday bash is something I probably won't make (unless you move it to a weekend). Well, unless you convince my company to hire 2-3 more people by then. I don't think any of our customers know that a recession is going on. They are buying like it's a boom.
Let's put it this way, until these past few months, if you got half hour of OT for the week, it was a miracle (especially due to deadlines for the trucks/UPS/etc). For my shift, every person has had at least 2 hours for the past month, and most of the time it's been closer to 3 hours.
Doesn't sound like much, but after 4pm, the work is condensed, probably at a 2:1 ratio or so (so 1 hour working is actually 2 avg hours of work), due to the mass amount of orders being placed at that time. And no way to fix that, currently.
