Morning, kids. Nope, not good night, good MORNING.

That's the last time I crash out early to get a good night's sleep. Now I'm up earlier and still tired.

So thaaat's why you didn't answer when bbdl and I called. Sorry if we woke you up, I figured it was a good assumption that you'd still be awake. :o

We have plenty of clean water here in MN - you're welcome to fly out and use it if things get really bad out east.

If you wash your clothes in that water, don't eat the clothes. Or you could wash them in bottled water. ;)

I might actually go to my brother's house to finish all the laundry I started yesterday. We're supposed to go to dinner today for my dad's birthday. I think the restaurant we were planning to go to is not in an affected city.

Just got back from the supermarket. It was INSANE. Thankfully they had water but you should have seen the people there. This better be over soon.

ugh... i still haven't gotten a bike... what is it about these weekends where I keep feeling like doing nothing. I think its the isolation... living in a house with 9 people when I was an intern makes you more active at an earlier hour... and I had tourist stuff i wanted to do. I think I need a roommate or something.

You didn't wake me, because I shut my phone off at night. :p

Good afternoon tLodge. I was out way past my bedtime last night so I didn't even get out of bed until after 12 today.

Meh. The kid wanted to go to Perkins with the rest of the team so we did that (should have sent him with another family and gone to Carol's). This is not the USA cup, but it's still a * big tourney. Everywhere was packed. :(
We has some sort of big tourney here this weekend as well. When I walked into the restaurant last night the entire patio was full, as well as the restaurant. Of course, it was prom night, so no-one thought it would be busy. (for some reason teenagers don't take their prom dates out for pizza). Amazingly, everyone was happy with their meals and we didn't run out of silverware.

Will be beginning my trek back to school in a short little bit, packing up some things then off I go. 8 days until departure!

this bookcase is driving me nuts... I'm down to one screw which I'm sure is in the right place. Every time i go to finish it the wood starts to leverage itself apart (not splitting)... I'm trying to find the weak points and I do notice somewhat of a bend... I just want to get this done and off my floor.

For reference this is the IKEA Expedit bookcase... blah. I've been waiting to get a bookcase for several months now.

Either that or they didn't want to shout down the pregnant lady. :D
LOL... that's why I stick to seating people and busing the tables after they are done eating, keeps the complaints down! :o

alright... issues with the bookcase question... 4 screws attach the base to the body... 3 of them will go in all the way... the 4th won't... the problem appears to some mis-alignment issue in the hole... the screw attaches two pieces of wood/particle board. If I had another person here I think it might go but it still might be a toss-up... i can get the screw in the hole on the second piece but there are obviously issues.

Any thoughts on how confident I should be in getting this thing up with 3 screws. It appears to be rather stable... i just don't want the whole thing to fall and go boom.
